Perfect place in Punta do Sol. Comfortable. Splendid view. Enjoyable.

Pros: Splendid appartment in Punta do Sol. Wonderful view. Well equiped with all we needed. Pool in front of our windows. Very friendly reception by the host. Parking on site. Modern furniture. We enjoyed the stay very much.

Cons: Madeira is an island with steep mountains and narrow roads. We knew that in advance. Reaching the place requires to drive one of these steep mountain roads. If you are a good driver and wisely rented a small car, there is no problem. Otherwise it can get a bit tricky.

Lovely apartment with beautiful views

Pros: Very clean, comfortable residence , everything we needed for our stay

Cons: Settee not particularly comfortable but adequate

Magnificent and relaxing.

Pros: Large French windows/doors leading from the spacious and comfortable bedroom and kitchen/dining/living room to the terrace and pool. The views from the room and terrace/garden across the private pool towards the sea and hills are absolutely stunning. The host was very friendly and helpful. A place to return to.

Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like.

Legen...wait for it...dary

Pros: We had the most wonderful stay at this accommodation! The place is absolutely gorgeous, with an exceptional view from the apartment that took our breath away every day. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Peaceful heaven

Pros: We enjoyed our stay and relaxed a lot at the private pool area. The apartment has everything what is needed for a perfect vacation.

A little paradise in Madeira

Pros: When you slide the glass door open, you can look at the sky and ocean from your bed for hours. And when it gets warm, the pool is just two steps away. Beautiful place, wonderful owner.

Cons: Drivers who are not used to driving on steep and narrow streets may get a little tired when arriving. But this applies to the entire island :)

A true “GEM”

Pros: Location and privacy - a true gem! Very helpful host. Nice scenery. Pool is not heated. Pool is perfect to cool down in the hot weather. The sun is extremely hot. Especially for April. We travelled and ticked every box in Madeira. I suggest staying here as a base. Nice restaurants near by. Lovely beach and scenery close by also. Having a private parking space helped. Have in mind that the location will need a strong car engine to get up and down.

Cons: Everything was great. If I must point out 1 thing. If staying for a long time and looking to cook. The cooking instruments did not work to the magnetic connect facility. The right cooking instruments need to be corrected. More coffee capsules would be helpful for the coffee drinkers. However there are cafes near which are very cheap. Especially compared to london prices.

Super Tage und super Unterkunft!

Pros: Tolle und ruhige Unterkunft - vor allem der Pool und die Aussicht waren top.

Cons: Hund, der sein mehrfach tägliches Geschäft im Garten macht, is nicht so toll - auch wenn man Hunde selber mag! Muss nicht sein.

De andere recensies kloppen allemaal. We waren heel tevreden met alles.

Pros: Comfortabel twee kamer appartement met grote tuin en zwembad. Heel fijn tuinmeubilair.

Perfecte uitvalsbasis om eiland te ontdekken.

Pros: Het was een mooie goed verzorgde plek. De keuken was goed voorzien met basisbehoeftes, zoals een paar koffie cups, thee en peper en zout. Lekkere zachte handdoeken en schoon zwembad met buiten douche.

Cons: Dat de hond van de eigenaresse zijn behoeftes kwam doen op het gras. Werd wel netjes opgeruimd. Weg naar boven is erg steil.
