If you like history and an authentic place to stay with a countryside wibe, this is the choice

Pros: Paulo was a great host. We loved everything because it was an authentic place.

Cons: We didn't like the fact that we had to leave the place; we felt so peaceful and at home there.

Cons: Some people may not like the one big room with bedroom and kitchen diner combined. It worked fine for us.

Pros: This accommodation was truly unique and had a breathtakingly beautiful property. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with lush plants and animals that add such charm to the entire place. The view from the terrace is simply stunning, making it a perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The host was very friendly and accommodating, making sure everything was perfect during our stay. There are also two houses on the property, which makes it feel even more special and spacious. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Real GEM for nature lovers

Pros: Absolutely charming place. Arranged with care and attention to detail. The host Paulo is amazing, he told us a lot about the history of the place, about his passion and devotion, that you can see and feel all around. The garden is BEAUTIFUL, lots of flowers and other happy plants, lovely lizzards catching sun rays. We enjoyed sitting there and playing cards in the evenings. The house/appartment was spacious enough for 4 persons, looked like a museum - there were a lot of interesting, Madeiran traditional objects inside like a traditional cooking stove, glass cabinets etc. You do not see such places often these days. Overall - GREAT STAY :)

Cons: Nothing to complain about, but the shower area could be slightly upgraded:)

Pros: Everything!!! This place is out of this world, with soul and history! Uncle Paulo is nicest, kind and helpful person I’ve ever met. For sure it wasn’t our last time in this place. There’s no better place in Madeira to stay! ♥️
