Pros: great location, beautiful property and quiet area surrounded by locals and cats!! loved the sound of the running water in the street at night and bed was extremely comfortable. area was peaceful and amazing views from bedroom balcony. teresa was a friendly and helpful host, offered to meet us and direct us to property as in difficult spot to find, once you do it once it’s easy, only issue was parking was very tight so we used parking a spot further down the hill. would recommend.
Cons: enjoyed everything! bathroom didn’t have a great smell and wifi didn’t work but otherwise everything was perfect!

Cozy and authentic cottage with stunning views from the terrace. Bonus: private parking place
Pros: Quiet and peaceful authentic environment. The cottage is not in a tourist area, locals live in the area. The car traffic is minimal. The house is fully equipped. The view from the terrace is stunning. It is very special to hear two of Madeira's 500 canals thumping in the street.
Cons: My suggestion is to rent a small car (e.g. Toyota Yaris or smaller). In Madeira, a small car is generally an advantage, but here it will also come in handy on the street of the accommodation when you navigate the car into the private parking place from the narrow and steep street.

Pros: Lokalizacja w spokojnej okolicy. Z tarasu roztacza się piękny widok na ocean. Dobre wyposażenie kuchni.
Cons: Mało miejsca w łazience. Zatkany odpływ pod prysznicem. Brak możliwości segregacji śmieci.

Perfekte Auszeit auf Madeira mit einem sehr besonderen Jahreswechsel
Pros: Sehr schöne ruhige Lage der Wohnung. Komplett ausgestattet und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.
Cons: Die Straße ist sehr schmal. Das Auto sollte nicht zu groß sein. Mit einem normalen Mittelklassewagen kein Problem

Pros: Sehr ruhige Lage in einem Wohngebiet, wunderschön auf der Terrasse zu sitzen mit Aussicht auf das Meer. Nicht weit zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Strand und Hafen in Calheta. Auto sollte man aber haben. Super Bett, geräumiges Schlafzimmer. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Teresa ist in allen Dingen jederzeit erreichbar und äußerst hilfsbereit.
Cons: Einziges Manko war ein unangenehmer Geruch nach Kanal im Bad und aus dem Schrank unter der Spüle. Bei schönem Wetter und allseits geöffneten Türen und Fenstern kein Problem. Aber wir hatten auch kühle und nasse Tage, da wurde es ziemlich stinkig. Anmerkung: Fahrerisches Können ist beim Einparken rückwärts in die Einfahrt nötig, da die Straße sehr schmal ist.

Pros: La casa está bastante bien pero lo mejor son las vistas desde las dos terrazas y la tranquilidad que se respira, solo se escucha el agua correr. Muy bien equipada Buena comunicación con el pueblo (Supermercado a menos de 10 minutos) Teresa fue muy comunicativa y amable en todo momento
Cons: Realmente el camino para llegar es complicado, así como aparcar. Teresa nos ayudó el primer día y luego es cuestión de práctica y paciencia El baño es un poco pequeño y que esté abajo cuando el dormitorio está en el piso de arriba es algo engorroso

Wil je rust en privacy? Madeira Inn The Typical House!
Pros: De locatie ligt centraal ten op zichte van alle bezienswaardigheden op het eiland. De accommodatie ligt op een zeer rustige plek 10 minuten rijden vanaf de boulevard en het strand van Calheta. Zeer compleet ingericht, fijn uitzicht en veel privacy. Wij hebben een zonovergoten week gehad, terwijl het op andere plekken op het eiland bewolkt was of zelfs kort regende! Een kleine auto is een aanrader; het weggetje naar de accommodatie is smal en stijl. Overigens heb je altijd een auto nodig om iets te ondernemen vanaf de accommodatie, maar dat geldt eigenlijk voor het hele eiland.
Cons: De beschrijving geeft aan dat de accommodatie beschikt over een airco. Alhoewel de (oude) wandunit lijkt op een airco, blijkt het apparaat alleen lucht te verplaatsen en niet te koelen.

Pros: Belle maison avec terrasse et une très belle chambre et vue sur océan.
Cons: L'accès dans une voie très étroite, en descente abrupte avec obligation de faire une marche arrière pour le véhicule. Gros problème pour l'embrayage et le rétroviseur !!!

Maison très agréable sur les hauteurs de Calheta avec une vue magnifique sur la montagne et la mer.
Pros: Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux de Teresa qui a mis tout en œuvre pour que notre arrivée et notre séjour se déroule dans les meilleurs conditions. La cafetière est tombé en panne et Teresa est venue nous en apporter une neuve à peine deux heures après notre appel. La maison est très agréable pour un couple, avec notamment ses terrasses extérieur et la possibilité de faire des barbecues. L'accès sur les hauteurs pourrait semblé difficile mais on s'y habitue très vite. Nous nous sommes sentis en harmonie dans cette petite maison chaleureuse.
