Great time!
Pros: Very spacious, clean, private enough, all you need is there. Walking distance to the beach, it took us about 40 minutes, very down the hill, but beautiful views on the way.
Cons: TV was never fixed, but it was a minor.

Spacious house in a beautiful location with magnificent view and a pool
Pros: The host provided everything that is needed for a great holiday: sunbeds, towels, washing machine and dryer, hairdryer, fully equipped kitchen with coffee capsules and tea, books about Madeira, some sand and beach toys for the kids, and even a bottle of Madeira wine and a cake as a gift as well. We had the whole house to ourselves, including a garage, which was very convenient. Very quiet neighbourhood close to the western region and Rabacal.
Cons: The house has way too many glass surfaces not to have AC. It was very hot during the night if we didn’t leave the windows open. Unfortunately, there are mosquitos, so if you leave the windows open, they come in. The blinds in the bedrooms are not perfect, sunlight comes in in the middle.

Pros: great views loved seeing dolphins in the bay (binoculars)
Cons: the little road to garage is scary not for the faint hearted hubby managed~~~~ tip drop one at top hill to open door no need to stop then just drive in

Wonderful pool house

Very peaceful and relaxing villa with exceptional views.
Pros: Very spacious and clean with excellent views over Calhetta. Superb host who met us when we couldn't find the apartment! Great facilities with pool and terrace. Extremely comfortable villa for a family stay and well equipped with linens, towels, kitchen equipment etc. Extremely peaceful.
Cons: Beautiful views set up on the hill overlooking Calhetta but as would be expected, a steep walk down and up - would highly recommend a car if staying at this villa. Struggled to get hot water in the ensuite bathroom, but as there were two other showers in the villa, this was not a major problem. Parking in the villa's garage was a little tricky, but plenty of parking on the road above the villa.

Pros: The location of the property was stunning, giving amazing views. And the size of the property is very generous with everything you could need available. The outside area with pool and bbq adds to making it an amazing place to be.
Cons: On the flip side the location (half way up a cliff), makes driving there slightly challenging, but it’s almost unavoidable for Madeira. There were also a couple of minor things that could do with repairs/ updating (normal ware and tare) to make it a 10.

Pros: Відпочинок у цьому будинку залишив дуже приємні враження. Просторий будинок з великими панорамними вікнами дарує неймовірний вид на океан і відчуття простору та комфорту. Хазяїн нас тепло зустрів і швидко поселив, що було дуже зручно після дороги. У будинку чисто, затишно, є все необхідне для комфортного проживання: капсули для посудомийки та пральної машини, сушка, великий холодильник, зона для відпочинку на вулиці, достатньо посуду. Ми брали підгрів басейну 100 євро за 4 дня , але вода, навіть з підігрівом, була прохолодною, тож тим, хто любить дуже теплу воду, варто врахувати цей момент. В цілому будинок дуже комфортний, з усім необхідним для відпочинку, а вид на океан, панорамні вікна та простора тераса роблять перебування тут справді чудовим.
Cons: З мінусів: хоча вказана парковка в будинку, фактично користуватися нею складно — крутий в’їзд може пошкодити коробку автомат або шини. Ми залишали машину зверху біля будинку і більше не ризикували. Також один раз вибило щиток, коли користувалися духовкою, і його важко було знайти, але господар швидко допоміг.

Prachtige, heerlijke plek met zwembad, comfortabel huis op een prachtig eiland.
Pros: De indeling van het huis, lekker ruim. De ligging met uitzicht over de oceaan en het zwembad
Cons: Toch wel wat achterstallig onderhoud. Nu wel mooie rolgordijnen op alle slaapkamers ! Afdekzeil van zwembad behoorlijk vergaan. Jammer! Omdat we het verwarmde zwembad hadden willen afdekken voor de nacht om warmte vast te houden . Aantal buitenstoelen kapot. Keuken mist wat kleine pannen en sommige keukenkastjes stinken erg door vocht? Polyester sprei/deken niet aangenaam.

Herrlicher Blick, gute und ruhige Lage, ausgezeichnetes Haus
Pros: Herrlicher Blick aufs Meer, gut ausgestattetes Haus, ruhige Lage ohne Autolärm oder dergleichen. Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Urlaub und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.
Cons: Das Haus ist mit Ventilatoren ausgestattet, die aber bei sehr heißen Tagen in den Schlafzimmern die Temperatur nur bedingt kühlen. Wir sind damit jedoch gut zurecht gekommen, da wir mit offenen Fenster geschlafen haben.
