Very comfortable and a great view outside

Pros: Our friendly hosts had messaged us with information so we found this place easily. It's in the hills above Calheta. Parking is in a lay-by by the main road, and then it's a short walk up a very steep hill and a spiral staircase to the first floor terrace with its seating area and gorgeous view over the valley. The apartment is a good place to relax. It consists of a comfortably-furnished main room with an unusual and well-equipped kitchenette, a pleasant bedroom and a good-sized bathroom. Pros: Nice property, decent location in Calheta hills, and well-equipped. Hosts were nice, friendly, and the rooms were clean and neat. Nice Christmas decorations as well! There's a connecting door between the two units and noise comes through, but I wasn't around during the day so it wasn't an issue. People were quiet at night.

Cons: Bad sewage smell from toilet in the bathroom even with the window open all the time. Maybe toilet seal needs to be replaced? Might be a city issue too? Parking was on a very steep driveway with little turn around space and so it's better to park on the street, which was fine and easy enough. Don't stay here if you have accessibility issues, though, just the stairs to get up above to the place.

Pros: The apartment is really spacious and has a big terrace with amazing views. The landlords were wonderful, they greeted us and help us with the luggage even though we arrived late. It was really nice.

gorgeous and spacious apartment, parking a tad bit annoying

Pros: the apartment was very spacious and fully stocked with anything we needed in the kitchen or the bathroom! we had the whole apartment to ourselves

Cons: it was a little tricky to figure out how to get there and where to park, but the host was very responsible and helpful. it was also a little annoying to have to drag our things up such a steep driveway since we had to park on the roadside

Pros: Casa confortável, excelente para família. Fomos em casal e gostamos muito. A vista para o mar e montanhas foi um plus.

Cons: Foi meio complicado encontrar, mas recebemos as informações e por fim, deu certo.

Tout y est agréable

Pros: Un accueil familial et convial. L'appartement est irréprochable en tout points : taille, propreté, vue, ... Merci, c'était un séjour inoubliable

Cons: Rien à améliorer. Dites vous quand même que le logement est éloigné d'un centre urbanisé d'une bonne heure à pied, en descendant (si cela est votre moyen de déplacement, un taxi sera certainement très utile piur remonter)

Super spędzony czas

Pros: Cicha spokojna okolica. Niedaleko niewielki sklep. W domu jak i okolicy bardzo czysto, wszystkie najpotrzebniejsze rzeczy były. Ciężki wjazd pod sam dom ale na ulicy można śmiało zostawiać samochód :)

Des randonnées chaque jour, baignades ensuite. Visite de Funchal.

Pros: Logement spacieux, très propre, bien situé. Une agréable terrasse. Des hôtes charmants.

Pros: Господарі чудові, помешкання охайне і чисте, є всі зручності. Тераса неймовірна!

Cons: Крутий підйом в помешкання, з валізами було дуже важко підійматись

Petite escale de deux nuits satisfaisante

Pros: Accueil gentil, logement confortable, grande terrasse.

Cons: Logement mitoyen de celui du propriétaire, séparé par une porte. On entend tout ce qui se passe derrière cette porte. Sale odeur de remontée d’égout dans la salle de bain malgré la propreté des lieux.
