Wonderful hosts and beautiful apartment

Pros: Very spacious, clean and well equipped. Host was very friendly, generous and recommended places to us as well as bringing us fresh fruits and jam. Beautiful sea view, lovely pool and bbq area. Comfortable beds and living areas. Everything we needed.

Fabulous, comfortable stay - would recommend!

Pros: We loved the space available in the apartment. It was clean, warm (we stayed in January), comfortable and well equipped. Isabelle was a lovely host and there was fresh fruit, wine and home made cake waiting for us on arrival. It’s quiet (the dogs bark a little in the evenings but it wasn’t late and it wasn’t too loud for us) and well located if you want to do the walks on the Paul de Serra plateau - around 20 min drive to the trail heads.

Cons: I think the only thing we didn’t have was a cheese grater but such a minor detail, it didn’t matter. The kitchen was otherwise very well equipped and Isabelle leaves a box wi th basics like salt and pepper, dishwasher tablets, etc available.

Pros: Communication with the owner was very easy and all the details I needed were shared with me in advance.

Cons: Maybe a sign on the wall to the property would be convenient to indicate where to park the car and where to find the entrance.

Amazing house in great part of Island

Pros: The house is great! Heated pool, ocean view, avocado tree just next to the door, paradise. The house has everything. Only thing we missed is the kitchen equipment, we love to cook, but I understand that Madeira offers great and reasonable restaurants. Isabelle ( owner ) and Fatima ( manager ) were both great, friendly and helpful. They bring us everything we wanted for our baby, craddle and chair. Dont be scared by Calheta, indeed is it one hour from the airport but this part of Island is one of the best is you love hikingy waterfalls and green lush nature. There was a big wildfire, but it is green again and the town was untouched. I truly recommend Casa Apagante with no doubt. Felt like home. Merci beacoup Isabelle. Josef, Petra et Damian

It was very enjoyable

Pros: I was very taken aback by how comfortable the host has made us feel at her residence by respecting our privacy. She was incredibely polite and helpful whenever we had any enquiries.

Pros: Top locatie en mooie faciliteiten. Super vriendelijke host.

Pros: Úžasný dom v kľudnej lokalite. Pani majiteľka nás privítala koláčikom a fľašou vína. Nechýbalo domáce ovocie. Dom bol veľmi čistý a nič nám tam nechýbalo. Kuchyňa komplet vybavená. Bazén sme nevyužili, lebo počas nášho pobytu bolo veľmi chladné a veterné počasie, ale voda v bazéne mala aj tak 25°C. Odporúčame všetkým toto ubytovanie. Radi sa vrátime opäť.

Pros: Дом с потрясающим видом. Все чисто. Очень приятная и дружелюбная хозяйка, встретила нас с угощениями, постоянно интересовалась все ли в порядке. Шикарное наполнение на кухне- чайник, две кофеварки, тостер ,плита, духовка еще и достаточно и кофе и чая и соли и даже макароны. Удобные кровати и много места.

Cons: Можно было бы освежить полотенца

Pros: Accueil et présence très sympathiques des propriétaires, les bananes du jardin sont délicieuses. Nombreux conseils pour les randos et visites de l'ile. Le logement est très spacieux, hyper propre et bien équipé. La vue sur mer est très agréable depuis les différentes terrasses et aussi depuis le salon. La piscine privative est elle aussi très agréable. Nous sommes très satisfaits de cette location.
