I highly recommend that place! It was please to stay at Villa do Italiane
Pros: The apartment consists of 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms (one attached to bedroom and one to the living room - what is very convenient!). It's fresh and modern furnished - you got most of the appliances like fridge, owen, microwave, hair dryer etc. (only maybe missing dish washer). Also in front of the building, there is small terrace with ocean view what is spectacular and you can eat there your tasty breakfast. It's located on southern - warmer side of the Madera island (Calheta) and imho it's a good base location for your trips, although I would recommend a car (there is a parking spot inside, behind the gate, so the car is also safe). There is also a nice swimming pool on the backyard! And the internet connection is super fast - 100Mb/s+. Also the hosts are very kind (we were greeted with small treats from Madeira, which was nice gesture after long trip:) ).
Cons: There is not many bad things to say about the place, maybe only the nearest church bell, if someone would like to stay whole day at apartment in bed (but who would like to do it on Madera?! ;) )

Trotz kleiner Mängel eine tolle Unterkunft
Pros: Tolle ruhige Lage mit weiter Aussicht aufs Meer, eigene Terrasse, Pool- Benutzung, gut ausgestattete Küche, schnelles WLAN, nette Vermieterin, eigener Parkplatz
Cons: Das Bett quietscht laut und bei jeder Bewegung, in den Schränken war es schmutzig, der Boden war nur grob gereinigt. Die Waschbecken in den Bädern sind zu klein. Viele Ameisen im Bad.

Pros: Vraiment conforme aux photos , accueil simple et sympathique, la piscine parfaite après les randos, en se sans chez soi, les propriétaires respecte totalement l’intimité et on recommande vraiment. Merci pour votre accueil

Pace e tranquillità, relax e vista splendida. La casa ha tutti i plus per un soggiorno top!
Pros: La suddivisione degli spazi, la piscina, la vista, l’accoglienza di alto livello.
Cons: Un po’ difficile parcheggiare per via di spazi stretti e in pendenza, ma tutto sommato ok.

Pros: Absolument tout! L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter l’île et être un peu plus à l’écart des touristes. La vue est imprenable! 180 degrés sur l’océan! La propreté des lieux, tout est neuf, propre et de bonne qualité. L’accueil était exceptionnel ! Nous étions comme à la maison. Judith et Antonio sont des hôtes disponibles, à l’écoute, et très discrets. Nous avons passé 2 semaines et demi et nous vous conseillons cette location si vous souhaitez être un peu à l’écart des touristes de Funchal, et être proche des plages, et des randonnées. Il y a également de nombreux restaurants très proches entre 3 et 20 min en voiture de très bonne qualité. Nous reviendrons ici et conseillerons cette location à nos proches.
