Casa da Ovelha I Madeira

We enjoyed a relaxing stay in a lovely, spacious house.

Pros: Very spacious and well equipped house. Loved the outside areas and terraces on different levels. Liked the open plan, sociable space. We contacted Julien who went above and beyond to give advice and help which enhanced our stay.

Cons: It would have been nice if we could have walked to a bar or restaurant but we had to use a car. There was nothing to dislike about the house and grounds.

Lovely views, nice house

Pros: The view was amazing. The large bed was comfortable. The house was spacious with the bonus of a garden and bbq. Julien replied quickly each time.

Cons: Bathroom towels were tired and damp upon arrival. Kitchen plates, glasses, cutlery, utensils and coffee makers were dirty and needed washed. It states toilet rolls are supplied, but that was not the case- only 3 rolls supplied. And no cleaning products as stated- eg. bacterial spray for worktops. The door into the downstairs toilet doesn't open easily. There is no welcome pack with directions on how to use the microwave or coffee makers or where the tumble dryer is located. 4 sets of keys were left out with no idea of what they were for. The spiral staircase is tight and narrow. Most guests no doubt fly onto the island so I found it strange that there was no washing powder or things left by other guests.

Perfect accommodation to enjoy the west of Madeira. Would definitely love to comeback in the future.

Pros: Julien was a great and kind host, all info for arrival and departure were answered asap - thank you for the help. The accomodation is nice and quiet with a great view.

Cons: Just the garden furniture and possibility for sitting and barbecuing outside are unfortunately worn out and partially not usable. Beside of this we had a great time.

Cudowny pobyt w przepięknym miejscu.

Pros: Piękny domek w cichej okolicy z idealnym widokiem na ocean. Po pobycie w Funchal idealne miejsce na relaks z bazą wypadową na zachodnią i północną część wyspy :-) Dom jest gustownie urządzony i ma wszystko, co potrzebne do komfortowego pobytu. Przestrzeń na zewnątrz jest dobrze zagospodarowana, jest kilka tarasów, hamak, miejsce na posiłki na wolnym powietrzu. Byliśmy rodziną czteroosobową, więc było nam bardzo komfortowo.

Pros: Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Casa in Fajã da Ovelha. Alles war wirklich sehr, sehr schön. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und allem, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Der Check-in und Check-out waren absolut unkompliziert und angenehm. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Ruhe und der atemberaubende Blick über die Landschaft und das Meer, einfach perfekt zum Entspannen. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank

Pros: Fantastyczne miejsce z widokiem na Ocean. Dom wyposażony we wszystkie sprzęty i udogodnienia potrzebne aby wygodnie spedzic czas. Niczego nam nie brakowało. Działka obsadzona krzewami hibiskusów. W ogrodzie leźaki. Leżysz i patrzysz na Ocean.Polecamy to miejsce ciche i urocze. Przez cały pobyt towarzyszyła nam piękna czarna kotka. Czekała na nas zawsze gdy wracaliśmy po całym dniu zwiedzania. Przyjeżdżajcie !!!

Cons: Nie ma takiej rzeczy. Wszystko byĺo super.

Heerlijk genoten van een heel fijn huis op een werkelijk prachtig betoverend Madeira.

Pros: Prachtige ligging, gezellig en erg fijn huis. Goede bedden, fijne badkamer en goed uitgeruste keuken met een ruime woonkamer. De buitenruimte is fantastisch met een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan en zonsondergangen. Meerdere terrasjes met fijn meubilair.

Pros: Toller Ausblick auf den Atlantik. Ein Ort mit viel Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit. Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Betten waren sehr bequem. Alles war sehr sauber und funktionstüchtig.

Cons: Nichts negatives. Einzig der Parkplatz direkt am Haus war mit unserem größeren Mietwagen nur mit Bodenkontakt und viel Rangieren zu nutzen. Aber 100m weiter, unterhalb der Kirche gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze an der Straße , die auch immer frei waren.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt im Paradies. 🌺

Pros: Die Lage ist ruhig, abseits der Massen mit einem wundervollen Blick aufs Meer. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal dort. Die Casa hat ihren ganz eigenen Charme. Für Individualurlauber ohne große Ansprüche ist sie bestens geeignet. Wir haben uns dort beide Male sehr wohlgefühlt.

Cons: Die Küchenzeile könnte eine Grunderneuerung vertragen. Im Bad fehlen Haken zum Aufhängen.

Pros: Nous avons adoré la vue exceptionnelle de cette charmante maison. La maison est dans état irréprochable, la literie est excellente, tout c'est très bien passé pendant notre séjour

Cons: Nous avons un enfant de 5ans , une petite barrière sur le mur en bas du jardin nous aurait un peu plus rassuré
