Casa Trollis by Holiday Rental Madeira

Pros: Great location, sunny evenings, beautiful view of the city. Pool and very good grill. Fast and easy communication with the contact person. Own parking space.

Cons: A hard pillow (but that's a matter of taste).

Pros: The view was exceptional. The property itself was excellent and has obviously been redone very recently to a very high standard.

Cons: That view requires hiking up a long way from the old town. A minor thing but some nicer pillows and larger towels would be nice.

Pros: Wonderful vila! Every morning waking up to the scenic landscape was a highlight of my trip.

Cons: The pool is not heated, so the water is quite cold. The garage door doesn't always open. Sometimes the power goes out.

Pros: Impressive view from the terrace, peaceful location, convenient access.

Cons: Old-style electrical switches in the living room and bathroom were broken when we arrived. The living room one was fixed the next day, but we were without electricity in the bathroom for the whole week. It’s a bit disappointing that the issue was known before our arrival, yet we weren’t informed about it, and only after we started asking did they admit they were aware of the problem.

Pros: Tolles schönes Haus mit traumhaftem Blick auf die Bucht von Funchal. Wundervolle Außendusche mit Warmwasser. Tolle Lounge auf der Terrasse. Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, unkomplizierter Check-in, Bushaltestelle vor der Haustüre.

Cons: Alles war toll, nur wenn man als Gruppe reist ist das eine Badezimmer vielleicht etwas zu wenig, es könnte daher in den Zimmern oder im Flur mehr Spiegel geben. Das Spa kann leider nur auf 25 Grad beheizt werden und kostet zusätzlich 35 EUR/Tag. Wir konnten es aufgrund der kühlen Wetterlage leider nicht nutzen obwohl wir im Voraus bezahlt hatten.
