A comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great location — we would happily return.

Pros: The apartment was very clean, modern and well equipped. The location was excellent, close to the city centre, shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Communication with the host was smooth and easy

Cons: There was nothing significant to dislike. Everything met our expectations.

Spacious and comfortable house for a quiet break in Funchal

Pros: The house is spacious, with lots of room to relax indoors and a nice outdoor space too. Overall the decor is very attractive, the furniture was comfortable, and the location was quiet. It’s a reasonable walk into Funchal, and was near a bus stop for return journeys.

Cons: A few small things could be improved to make the overall experience better. - Soap dish or shower shelf in showers - Extractor fans in the bathrooms - Basics in the kitchen (eg oil, salt, pepper, til foil, and so on) - Clearer information about house maintenance (staff turned up unannounced to do laundry) and how to leave the house on departure - Deep clean the living room, as it had a very musty smell
