Pilar House

Comfortable, clean and spacious house with good garden and exceptional hosts.

Pros: Very nice garden, clean house, spacious and exceptional hosts. Only 25 minutes walking distance away from old town Funchal and the ocean. Small but nice grocery store 5 minutes walking distance. Bakery and pharmacy also pretty close by. We arrived late in the evening and the hosts had prepared dinner for us and our baby. There is a mango tree in the garden and we caught the beginning of the harvest and the mangoes were delicious. We stayed a long time and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home, such as providing a pool and baby walker for our baby girl. They even took us sightseeing one time and showed us so much kindness and generosity. We highly recommend this place and hope to stay here again some day.

Pros: It'a a large, comfortable apartment with a wonderful garden and view. Everything is impeccably clean and functional. We were welcomed with dinner and dessert, this place deserves the best rating!

Pros: Nice and clean house, chilling area on the garden, warm welcoming.

Pros: Well located villa in one of the district of Funchal. 30-40 min by foot, 10 minutes by bus (bus stop 100 m from house), and 5 min by car from city center. There are living-room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen. There is also a small garden which gives a opportunity to rest. House is comfortable- we have all we need during our stay in Funchal. The noise from surrounding streets was not annoying. Hosts awaited for our arrival with a lunch - I experienced it for the first time. They also left some basic staff for our stay- it was very kind of Them. We have only good memories from this stay!

Pros: Easy communication, great location, spacious and everything you need for a great stay.

Cons: The beds are very hard, even i am used to a firm bed this one was pretty hard. No else to complain so a great place to stay. We stayed 14 days and enjoyed every day.

Recomendo vivamente.

Hvaležna sem za lepšo postrežbo. Namestitev toplo priporočam tudi drugim.

Pros: Gostitelji so izjemno prijazni.
