Costa Residence Funchal View

Pros: Great accommodation, clean and very well equipped. Everything we could possibly need was there. Charming apartment with panoramic views. Close to the center (if you have a car), the host is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

Great value - a little gem.

Pros: Superb location with magnificent views of Funchal. Excellent host who greeted and recommended restaurants. Selva's was a superb we went twice, great food, great value, easy to get to (with car). Near to by routes to centre of funchal and other beautiful places like Monte (don't miss the gardens) and Pico de Barcelos. (Great restaurant in old telegraph/radio station. The apartment is cosy and very well equipped, everything you could need including an electric citrus squeezer. Great value compared with other accommodation I looked at in Funchal and I would definitely stay again.

Marvelous Funchal!

Pros: We really liked the location overlooking the town. The terrace provided great views during breakfast and dinner.

Pros: There was everything needed, dishwasher cubes, laundry capsules, lots of towels. You get exclusive use of one floor of the house with private entering, on the floor below lives the owner.

Cons: The only information we wish we had known ourselves before is the very very steep drive up the streets to get to the house, it can get stressful every time driving in if one does not feel very confident driving

Pros: Very nice hosts. Very nice view on the terrace. We arrived at midnight and the host was so kind to offer us something to eat for breakfast.

Cons: Flashing device lights in the living room. Byt I think this problem could be solved with some picture :)

Wonderful!

Pros: A very beautiful location, well positioned, with a fabulous view from the terraces! The host was very communicative and welcoming! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need, and the living room is very spacious. The bedroom leads to a terrace with a wonderful view over the ocean and the beautiful Funchal city. Even if public transport is well organized, I would recommend having a car to be able to move around easily. The location is a bit far from the city center, but having the advantage of being located in a very quiet area. We were extremely pleased with our stay here and would love to come back next time

Breath-taking views

Pros: This place absolutely exceeded our expectations! I'm giving the highest rating but I would rate higher, if possible. The view is absolutely spectacular. Moreover, it's a very quiet neighbourhood but with good transport links to the Funchal City centre. The host is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Thank you!

Pros: Pięknie położony domek z werandą i tarasem. Widok zapiera dech w piersiach! Miły gospodarz powitał nas tradycyjnym maderskim ciastem:) Dojazd, no cóż - ostro pod górę ;)
