Great views, good value, and a charming house in a steep but well-located Madeiran setting.
Pros: Spacious house with a fantastic view over the Atlantic, located approach zone to the airport’s runway 05 (nice for ✈️ spotters; not load at all!). The garden is very green and pleasant and adds a lot to the overall atmosphere. The house has an old-time charm, while all appliances are up to standard and worked reliably. The location is great for exploring the island. Communication with Ricardo was excellent. He was friendly, helpful, and always easy to reach. Overall, very good value for money
Cons: The beds are rather old and on the smaller side, which is something to consider. Access to the house is steep and narrow, which is common on Madeira, but parking requires confidence and a sufficiently powerful car, especially when reversing on steep inclines. The area is mostly quiet, but there can be some dogs barking and occasional passing cars.

Pros: Totally recommend this place. Very friendly host, he helped us to book a taxi to the airport early morning. House has beautiful view from windows and from garden. There is a place where you can park a car. Kitchen was very good equipped.

Pros: Great house in a quiet place. Three big bedrooms so there is enough space for everyone. Beautiful garden just outside with benches that you can use to read or admire the beautiful view. There is a kitchen fully-featured. The bathroom is a bit small but it is ok. The host is very kind and helpful.

Pros: I like the possibility to eat breakfast on the terrace with great view to the ocean. The house is big with many facilities you need for the comfortable stay. Very good communication with the owner. Parking car right to the house.
Cons: Parking by the car on the steep street.

Pros: Very good and quiet location, very kind and helpful owner, easy self check-in. Beautiful sea view and a lovely garden next to the house. Barbecue facilities on the terrace.
Cons: Ants in the house. 5€ for laundry washing in washing machine.

Pros: amazing garden and views of the city and ocean, quite a calm and peaceful street. a lot of space in the house, perfect for a bigger group. nice large kitchen, both outside and inside. good base for exploring the east side of the island, and also very close to the airport, but not too close either. (but you can watch the planes landing from the yard! ) The host was friendly and helpful.
Cons: With a bigger car, might be hard to park here. But for small ones it's alright. The road is very steep, you need to be a good driver.

Great place with a sea view and a garden
Pros: There is a lot of space to spend time outside. Many benches, terrace with a view of the sea to enjoy sunrises. The garden is nice with bananas, limes and papayas. The house was very comfortable, with a big kitchen and two bathrooms (one inside and one outside). There is a washing machine but keep in mind that it may not be free of charge to use it. Better to contact the owner :)

Beautiful place
Pros: The garden is stunning! There are several sitting areas and we loved every corner :) The house is big enough for 5 people with well equipped kitchen, it has 3 bedrooms and overall it is very comfy place. Communication with Ricardo was really smooth.
Cons: The house is on the hill and the road leading up makes drivers stand on the accelerator. Sometimes we were woken up by cars in a night. Other then that everything was perfect. Totally recommended place!
