Casa Monte Cristo IV

A wonderful villa for relaxing with friends and family.

Pros: Comfortable, clean, spacious house. Wonderful pool and outdoor facilities

Cons: Some basic provisions (oil, seasonings, barbecue charcoal, some laundry tablets) would have been welcomed so that guests don’t have to buy them (and only use a small amount) would have been appreciated

Pros: The house is quite large and well equipped and has a lovely swimming pool. The view is fantastic and everything was spotlessly clean. The area is very quiet and even quite green ( considering we are in the Algarve)but not far from the city centre. Lovely place for a family stay.

Cons: It was awkward to have people walking around the property without announcing themselves. For me, the gate of the property should be like a hotel room door, meaning, if someone wants to get in, should ask permission. It was strange and gave a feeling of lack of privacy to suddenly see the gardener, the laundry ladies, the swimming pool cleaner, the rubbish collector, walking around unexpectedly . They tried to be quiet and to disturb the least, but getting out of bed in the morning, stepping outside in your night garments and facing the gardener was not a nice experience. My mother, who is 86, also got really scared when she came outside the kitchen door and saw an elusive figure moving quickly around the corner- I guess it was the rubbish collector. I know there is a previous information delivered to guests about the possibility of workers in the premises but I’ve always thought they would announce their presence.

Pros: Por supuesto la casa. Luminosa, espaciosa, limpia y muy cómoda. Excelente. Sitio muy tranquilo. Perfecto si buscas unos días para relajarte y con muchas actividades alrededor.
