A house full of character and lots of space

Pros: The property is a lovely old Madeiran house with lots of space both inside and out. The owner Miguel was very helpful and left us so much food and drink we had a job getting through it!!

Cons: We thought we were getting 3 bathrooms but it was 2 full bathrooms and a toilet, this isn’t clear on the details.

We will be back!

Pros: Beautiful, simple, atmospheric family home. Space, character, history. We loved it here. Lovely position. Fantastic outside spaces; great chickens! Maria and Miguel very helpful and responsive.

Pros: Beautiful house right next to the ocean, you will fall asleep to the sound of the waves. We especially enjoyed the garden, having breakfast on one of the little terraces or a drink on the balcony watching the ocean. The house has a lot of space, is very clean, and has everything you need as a family to stay. Maria and Miguel sent a lot of great recommendations and surprised us with a welcome baskets and little pastries, even fish to barbecue, which made our stay unforgettable.

Pros: Nice and calm village. Spacy and cozy house, several places for sitting outside in a pleasant surroundings. Fresh eggs every day.

Cons: Nothing to complaine.

Ein gemütliches Landhaus mit Garten

Pros: Das Haus mit Garten liegt wunderbar zwischen den Felsen, dem Bananenwald und dem Meer. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Der Gastgeber hat uns persönlich empfangen, wir erhielten sogar Obst aus dem Garten und durften uns mit frischen Eiern der vier Hühner versorgen. Sehr gastfreundlich! Obrigado!!!

Pros: Fantastyczne miejsce na spokojne wakacje! Jeśli chcesz odpocząć w ciszy, bez tłumów i mieć świetną bazę wypadową w głąb wyspy - to miejsce dla Ciebie. Przepiękny, stary dom z duszą, absolutnie kompletnie wyposażony, przestrzenny, z dużym ogrodem pośród bananów, mango, monstery... Piękne widoki na góry i morze, można zasypiać przy szumie fal ;) Dla towarzystwa kociaki i kury :) Czekamy na moment, kiedy można będzie wrócić! Doskonała komunikacja z gospodarzami - Maria i Miguel - serdecznie pozdrawiamy!

Pros: Villa nella piantagione di banane, immobile tipico che lascia una forte impronta identitaria. Da risolvere con delle zanzariere il problema di areazione, zanzare e gatti nella sala hobby. Nel complesso la casa ci ha stregato.

Cons: Da risolvere con 3 zanzariere il problema di areazione , delle zanzare e dei gatti nella sala hobby che ha bisogno di prendere molta aria.

Een ruim klassiek huis in een prachtige omgeving. Een unieke ervaring om hier vanuit Madeira te verkennen

Pros: Dit is een prachtig klassiek gerenoveerd huis, in een rustig dorpje direct aan het strand gelegen. Als hoogtepunten zijn er rond het huis 4 terrassen, zodat je altijd in de zon of schaduw kunt zitten. Hiernaast is er een theehuis en een grote tuin met o.a. bananenbomen, mango’s en papaya’s die je van de eigenaar mag plukken voor eigen gebruik. Er zijn kippen die dagelijks zorgen voor een vers eitje. Achter het huis is er uitzicht op een hoog klif met enkele watervallen, wanneer het in de bergen heeft geregend. Het dorp ligt op één van de zonnigste plekken van Madeira. De eigenaar is erg behulpzaam.

Cons: Omdat het een antiek pand is, is er geen airconditioning. Voor de temperatuur is dit ook niet echt nodig. Maar er zijn hierdoor wel vrij veel muggen, waarvoor er horren en muggenstekkers aanwezig zijn.

Pros: Bardzo ładny dom \

Cons: Ulica bezpośrednio przy domu, ale niezbyt uciążliwa. 2 łazienki + toaleta, ale na ogół to wystarczało. Najbliższy sklep w sąsiedniej miejscowości. Dość daleko do szlaków górskich.

Sehr erholsam, entspannt und alles problemlos!

Pros: Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme, ist liebevoll eingerichtet mit vielen verschiedenen Plätzen zum sitzen. Auch außen hat man viele Möglichkeiten zum sitzen und essen. Die Lage direkt am Meer mit Meeresrauschen und die obere Terrasse mit Blick auf Meer und die landenden Paraglidings war toll! Auch die Betreuung durch Miguel war klasse.
