Quiet enjoyable aparmtent with a large terrace

Pros: We were very satisfied with the accommodation. The owners, Narciso and Marlene, were waiting for us at the apartment, even though we arrived late. They showed us everything and explained everything. They were very nice. It is clear that they take great care of the apartment themselves, with attention to detail. The blooming orchids on the stairs were an example of this. Everything was clean and tidy. The apartment was functionally and comfortably furnished, the kitchen was very well equipped, and we found everything we needed, including dish towels, food containers, a coffee maker, and a grill. The beds were comfortable, and we slept very well, partly because the apartment is in a quiet location. We enjoyed sitting on the large terrace in the evening, and there was a view of the sea from the balcony. Our experience was the best.

Great place and nice owners

Pros: The house is beautiful and set up in a rather quite and nice location, with the view of the sea. It was very clean and very well equipped.

Cons: One of the toilets had an odd smell, not drainage though, but I'm sure the owners can take care of this. Although this WAS NOT spoiling our stay.

Très bon séjour.

Pros: Bel emplacement pour découvrir la partie sud-ouest de l’île. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants ( gâteaux et boissons) et nous ont ramené sur Funchal des vêtements oubliés ( obrigada). Descendez la rue et trouvez une plage très accessible.

Cons: Le mobilier est ancien mais tout est très propre. La salle de bain est moderne. En août, les places pour se garer dans la rue sont recherchées.

Prima appartement en uitvalsbasis v. Madeira.

Pros: Marlene en Narciso heten ons welkom en op alle vragen kregen wij antwoord. Appartement voldeed aan alle verwachtingen en een prachtig uitzicht op zee en de bananenplantages ook licht het aan een rustige weg i.p.v de wat drukkere weg langs zee. (geen massatoerisme in Madalena do Mar) Tevens is Madalena do Mar een prima uitvalsbasis om de rest van Madeira te ontdekken, heerlijk rustig en goede restaurants. Rond 8:00 uur komt de bakker met verse broodjes langs. en er is een pinautomaat in de buurt.

Pros: Superbe vue sur la mer et la montagne.. Maison authentique ,au calme et bien agencée avec une agréable terrasse abritée du vent . Accueil sympathique. A proximité des restaurants et des promenades dans les bananeraies. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Es war ein perfekter Urlaub. Wir haben uns im CasaMar sehr wohl gefühlt.

Pros: Die Eigentümer von CasaMAR sind hervorragende Gastgeber. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Straße, jedoch nur circa 100m vom Meer entfernt. Gute Einkehrmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Haus ist ideal, wenn man Ruhe sucht, aber trotzdem eine gute Verkehrsanbindung und und eine Auswahl von Restaurants in der Nähe haben möchte. Attraktive Wandermöglichkeiten im Westen der Insel sind mit dem Mietwagen schnell erreichbar. Wir würden CasaMar jederzeit wieder buchen.

Cons: Zu unserer Reisezeit war es ungewöhnlich kalt. Die Temperaturen waren teilweise im unteren 2stelligen Bereich. Für solche Ausnahmefälle hat die Heizmöglichkeit gefehlt.
