Paul do Mar is a fabulous location. 'Ocean View' is the perfect spot to stay in Paul do Mar.
Pros: 'Ocean View' is aptly named. Clear views to the horizon. Fabulous little home by the sea. Perfect for two people. Superb location. Private parking is a great bonus. Washing machine made it easy to pack for a two week stay. Excellent communication and directions from host. Very rapid response from host when we had any queries. Maria managed to be attentive without being intrusive. Full size oven and hob, full size fridge freezer for self catering but plenty of very good local eateries within a few minute's walk. Small supermarket nearby stocks all the essentials. Wake up to the mesmerizing sound of the waves. Watch the sun going down from the balcony. The hike up the trail (Caminho Real do Paul do Mar) past the waterfall is well worth the effort. Or stroll the lanes of Paul do Mar for a less strenuous outing. We really enjoyed our stay at 'Ocean View' and would love to return some day.

Pros: The apartment was very well equipped, you will find there everything you may need, even beach towels. The view from the room and from the teracce is amazing. Paul do Mar is a lovely little town, having lot of nice restaurants, nice streets. It was easy to get in to the apartment and the response time of the owner is short.
Cons: The size of the apartment is small, but you can manage everything. Size of the bathroom and the sink should be bigger- brushing teeth s challenging, either you hit your head in the mirror, either the toothpaste falls outside of the sink. The only place you can put your toiletries is right behind the toilet. Be aware the ocean waves are fairly loud, even if you close the balcony door, not a quite place to sleep.

A very pleasant week at a house right next to the sea in Madeira.
Pros: Location overlooking the Atlantic waves, with lovely walks and a range of good restaurants nearby. Cosy little house with all the basics, including good wifi, plus garage parking. Friendly host, easy key collection and return.

Klein, aber schön!
Pros: Tolle Lage, Lage, Lage.... Es ist alles da, wenn auch klein, die Garage sehr angenehm, netter Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Das Waschbecken ist halt wirklich nicht groß ... ;-) Wir hatten es nicht zu warm oder kalt vom Wetter her, die Wohnung war für alles gerüstet.

Pros: L'appartement, son emplacement et la vue sont magiques notamment pour ceux que le bruit des vagues et le roulis des galets apaisent. L'apéritif sur la terrasse au coucher du soleil, un top. De très bon restaurants abordables à deux pas. Nous n'avons pas vu la propriétaire mais les échanges ont témoigné de sa disponibilité. Beaucoup de belles choses à découvrir et de randonnées aux alentours proches. Bref nous recommandons.
Cons: Les oreillers sont un peu trop durs, c'est tout

Pros: Superbe vue sur la mer, bon emplacement avec un garage privé. Petit plus pour la bouteille de vin offerte. Logement petit mais suffisant pour deux.
Cons: Salle de bain beaucoup trop petite, bémol sur l'hygiène au niveau de la literie ( ongle, cheveux, poil ).

Ein Traum am Wasser!
Pros: Die Wohnung ist ein Traum! Direkt am Wasser kann man täglich den Sonnenuntergang beobachten und den Wellen lauschen. Die Wohnung ist nicht sehr groß, aber reichte für 2 Personen absolut aus. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch ein absolutes Plus ist die eigene Garage! Der Ort hat wenige Restaurants, welche aber echt gut sind. In Max 8-10 Minuten Fußweg erreicht man auch einen kleinen Supermarkt.

Pros: Отличное расположение, прекрасный вид на океан и из спальни и с балкона. Кажется, что ничего не отделяет от воды, несмотря на то, что под окнами проходит улица. При этом ночью тихо. В ванной достаточное количество полотенец и фен. На кухне есть необходимая техника, посуда. На балкон можно вынести не только стулья, но и шезлонги. Сам городок тоже очень милый, можно прогуляться по узким улочкам, рядом есть хорошие кафе. Помимо очевидного плюса в виде первой линии (по фото можно оценить вид на океан), для нас было очень важным плюсом наличие собственного гаража! После поездок по крутым склонам острова и грунтовых парковок возле левад, и уж тем более после нескольких дней проведённых в Фуншале, где с парковкой тоже все сложно, для нас было особенным удовольствием заезжать вечером в свой гараж.
Cons: Очень маленькая раковина в ванной комнате. Понятно, что планировка ограничена площадью, но даже зубы чистить неудобно над такой. На кровати в спальне какой-то шуршащий наматрасник. Странные ощущения. Ну и было бы удобнее, если бы для одеяла был пододеяльник, а не простыня. Немного неудобно, что стиральную машину смогли разместить только в гараже. Но опять же это объясняется небольшой площадью квартиры. Так что хорошо, что стиральная машина хотя бы есть.
