Access by public transport

Pros: Proximity to levada walk is a major bonus for walkers and hikers.

Cons: Guests should be told that access to this property by public transport can be very challenging. If you leave the bus at Ponto do Sol bus stop, you will be faced with a one hour walk and a VERY steep climb to get to the property. On a hot day with luggage, this will be very difficult, if not impossible, for most people. There is another bus stop at Lombada which is much closer to the property. Ask the driver to drop you off here, rather than the main bus stop.

Pros: We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect — peaceful but close enough to explore everything Madeira has to offer. Our host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We truly felt at home and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Super location , excellent value

Pros: Location was great, One site parking. points of reflection / No internet connection in the downstairs bedroom., OK everywhere else . Kitchen area well equipped but lighting poor and was cold in the mornings ...visited in March, I am sure in summer months a welcomed relief from the heat !!! Suggest slippers for indoor use out of summer months. So enjoyed the out door terrace, star gazing .

Pros: Everything about the Roxana's house is perfect: big size, location, quality, garden, neighbourhood. From the house there is a spectacular view of the ocean and banana plantations! Our kids loved the house. We really enjoyed the stay! Thank you so much!
