Banana Tree House

Pros: Hidden in a banana plantation, it has all the facilities, amazing view of the ocean and perfect privacy to be sorrounded by nature.

Cons: The way is very hilly and steep (bu this is the way to get to the amazing view), and there were construction in the building next to it.

Good and reasonable price place to stay

Pros: It’s next to one of the Levadas in which is really nice to hike. It had a small rooftop with mountain and sea view. I enjoyed a lot having breakfast there. Bad and pillows are comfortable. The house is spacious, it’s a nice plan to stay assuming you won’t be spending your entire day there.

Cons: Windows could have blackouts or curtains. I know that it does not bother all the people but for me it was impossible to sleep after sun rise due to daylight in the room. The 2 chairs in the rooftop are a bit old and look very fragile as they might break at any moment. They should be replaced.

Pros: It is a lovely tiny house in the middle of the banana tees up on the hill. Amazing views!

Cons: It was all great.

Pros: Situated in the middle of a banana plantation - its a quite place, you feel like you are alone there. It was rather spacious, and has a terrasse on the top - we enjoyed it during dinners. It gets quite cold in the evening (june), but we still stayed there till 10-11 pm. Clean. Kitchen was good, I think the owner heard other comments and bought some must haves. Very friendly staff, thank you! Also a special thank you for the welcoming present! Advice: in order to better park there - come from the street on the top :)

Cons: The decoration could be more on point (for example related to bananas?). The terrasse also needs some lights. But otherwise, it was really good! NOT for families with kids in baby carriages, going to be complicated to get there

Best view, comfortable and great value.

Pros: Amazing views from the rooftop, full kitchen, washing machine, and could sleep up to 4 people with a squeeze.

Cons: If you’re used to unlimited hot water you will need to get used to shorter showers! The kitchen also was missing a few essentials like rubbish bags, oil, baking paper etc which would be nice to have provided! It was also quite cold in the accommodation but thankfully a heater was available in the room!

Soggiorno caratteristico

Pros: L’appartamento è molto spazioso e luminoso e la cucina è davvero molto ben fornita. La terrazza sul tetto è strategica e, se si ha fortuna, si può ammirare un bellissimo tramonto. Ci è stato utile leggere le recensioni per arrivare comodi facendo il giro dalla strada di sopra e per portarci dietro i prodotti da bagno, visto che non sono forniti (shampoo e sapone). Non abbiamo mai avuto problemi a trovare posteggio lungo la strada (siamo in bassa stagione). Bellissimo dormire in un bananeto: avevamo un casco di banane in fiore proprio davanti al nostro cancelletto.

Cons: Come abbiamo letto nelle recensioni, l’appartamento è un po’ anonimo e spoglio: un paio di quadri alle pareti renderebbero l’atmosfera molto più accogliente e piacevole. Toglierei le piante finte e metterei magari qualche candela o lanternina. Quanto piove (durante il nostro soggiorno spesso) il cortiletto interno si allaga: utilissimo utilizzare l’apposita spazzola, ma purtroppo, camminando, si porta dentro in casa un po’ di bagnato. L’umidità in genere la fa da padrona, come penso ovunque nell’isola. Sarebbe utile avere degli asciugamani di riserva perché, dopo il terzo giorno, erano talmente umidi da non asciugare più. Parere personale: trovo veramente disagevole l’utilizzo delle lenzuola fix impermeabili: non lasciano traspirare e ci si sveglia al mattino in un bagno di sudore… e quando l’umidità è già tanta, la cosa crea ancor più disagio.

Pros: Logement très bien situé avec une vue magnifique de la terrasse ! Entouré de bananier, c’est un cadre exceptionnel Nous pouvons nous garer directement sur la route, le chemin est un peu difficile d’accès avec les valises mais sinon ça se fait très bien ! Très bien équipé au niveau de la cuisine + machine à laver c’est très pratique.

Cons: Oreiller peu confortable (trop plat) et il y avait des araignées sur le plafond à notre arrivée qui auraient pu être enlever avant notre arrivée lors du ménage (il y’avait un peu de poussière) ? mais appart ça tout était parfait !

Pros: Nyugodt, csendes hely, a kilátás szuper minden irányba a teraszról. Jól felszerelt, mosás, főzés megoldható.

Cons: Nem volt ilyesmi.
