Great view and outdoors
Pros: We were looking for a place with a great view, and this house immediately caught our eye. It’s super spacious, with a fantastic outdoor area that kept our 2-year-old happily entertained. The sunrise view was an unexpected bonus! We had an issue with the coffee machine, but the hosts were incredibly helpful and replaced it — even on a Sunday! Check-in and check-out were both very easy. The location was perfect, just a short drive to Vila Baleira, the supermarket, playground, and beach. Though to be fair, the island is small — everything is just a quick car ride away.
Cons: The décor is outdated, but we knew that in advance from the photos. We didn’t use the shower in the downstairs bathroom, as it seemed the curtain wouldn’t hold the water well and might make a mess. But since we were just two adults and a baby, the upstairs bathroom was more than enough. If the owners ever consider renovating, this house could easily become a premium stay! The location, views, and space are already perfect. As suggestions, see-through railings around the garden would make it easier to enjoy the views from the lounge chairs or hammock, and a better railing on the upstairs balcony would make it safer for families with small children.

Pros: A spacious house designed for 4–5 people. Located at the foot of a mountain, slightly elevated. It offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and part of the island, both from the balcony and the garden. A large supermarket is a 10-minute walk away or just a couple of minutes by scooter or car. The main beach entrance is a bit farther. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils. Messages are answered promptly, and you can also make a phone call if needed. All attached photos are taken from the balcony or from the garden or inside the house.
Cons: There are very few power sockets in the house, and many of them are already in use. It wasn’t a problem for me, as I had my own power strip with me. However, it might be a good idea for the hosts to add a couple of them.

Great Villa, we really liked it.
Pros: The location was good if you have a car, on foot not so good. The balcony in the bedroom was wonderful.
Cons: The Kitchen was very bare minimum and the sofa bed was not good. Our two children just about managedbut it was abit broken and didn’t fold down properly

Pros: Das alleinstehende Ferienhaus verfügt im Obergeschoss über zwei Schlafzimmer, davon eines mit Zugang zu einem Balkon, und ein Badezimmer, im Untergeschoss über ein weiteres Badezimmer, ein Wohnzimmer und eine Küche. Von der Terrasse mit Steingarten im Untergeschoss sowie vom Balkon im Obergeschoss bietet sich ein sehr schöner Panorama-Rundblick aufs Meer und den Ort Vila Baleira. Es liegt nahe genug am Meer, um das Meeresrauschen hören zu können. Das sehr freundliche Vermieter-Team reagiert schnell auf Anfragen und Anliegen.

Heerlijk vakantiehuis op prachtige plek
Pros: Heel mooi vakantiehuis op een plek met prachtig uitzicht! Fijne faciliteiten in het huisje. Op loopafstand van centrum met restaurantjes en strand. Een aanrader voor aantal nachten. Wij verbleven hier 6 nachten met veel plezier.
Cons: Huisje was op het oog schoon en netjes maar op slaapkamer vloer troffen we meerdere lange zwarte haren. Minder prettig.

Pros: O imóvel é bastante agradável. A localização permite estar perto, 10 min, do centro, mas o suficientemente afastado para termos tranquilidade.
Cons: O check-in foi demorado, a empresa responsável esqueceu-se de fornecer os dados de acesso ao imóvel. Nem através de mensagem os deu, só depois de contacto direto, via telefone, é que podemos ter acesso ao imóvel. Tivemos um incidente, artigo partido, pois uma das crianças tropeçou num fio que estava no chão e o artigo (candeeiro) caiu e partiu-se. Sugere-se prender os fios à parede ou esconde-los atrás do mobiliário. Apesar de ter entrada para o carro, esta é difícil. Apenas um carro TT, alto, conseguiria ultrapassar a entrada.
