Pros: This apartment truly offers everything you could wish for on holiday — it’s spacious, well-equipped and includes a large courtyard with a swimming pool that overlooks the ocean. The only thing future renters should be aware of: the property lies directly in front of a giant mountain. As a result, there’s practically no direct sunshine — the mountain casts a permanent shade over the grounds. If you’re hoping to sunbathe, São Vicente would be a much better option, as its open coastal and valley geography generally allows for better sunshine exposure than a property shadowed by mountain terrain.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location
Pros: The location was stunning, amazing mountain and sea views. It was a great place to relax and explore the north of the island. The garden was well equipped with comfy furniture, allowing us to watch the sun go down whilst watching the waves crashing against the shore.
Cons: One very minor thing - would be useful to have a large frying pan when cooking for the family.

Pros: Māja bija jauka, pēc vienota stila iekārtota, bija viss nepieciešamais dzīvošanai. Un patīkams sagaidīšanas grozs. Māja bija tīra, aprīkota. Saimnieks laipni sagaidīja un visu izrādija. Labprāt atgrieztos, bet tikai vasaras mēnešos, kad tur ir saule, jo rudens, ziemas un pavasara mēnešos tur vispār neiespīd saule, tapēc āra baseinu, teritoriju, kura ir jauka nav iespējams izmantot. Gaidijām saulainu laiku, kā citās pilsētās, bet diemžēl šī māja atrodas tādā vieta, kur to aizsedz liels kalns un tikai vasaras saulie var tam tikt pāri.
Cons: Lielā gūltā ļoti mīksts matracis un izgulēts vidus, guļot 2 cilvēkiem, no malām iekrīt vidū abi. Toletei augšā ir tikai sienas un durvis kuras nenoslēdzas arī griestu nav, skaņas dzird visi, Augšā guļot ļoti dzirdama iela. Pazūd okeāna jaukās skaņas,

Eine Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen in atemberaubender Lage – absolut unvergesslich.
Pros: Die Unterkunft liegt an einem spektakulären Ort mit traumhafter Aussicht auf das Meer – absolut empfehlenswert. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, doch das absolute Highlight ist der Außenbereich: perfekt ausgestattet, äußerst gepflegt und bis ins Detail durchdacht. Auch die Kommunikation im Vorfeld verlief reibungslos, und selbst ein unvorhersehbarer Wunsch wurde unkompliziert und schnell gelöst.
Cons: Da der Account des Anbieters einige Monate im Voraus gehackt wurde (war hierbei mit Booking im Ausstausch – auch ein Lob für den super Support), wäre eine persönlichere Kommunikation bei der zusätzlichen Web-Registrierung hilfreich gewesen. So war ich mir zwischenzeitlich unsicher, ob es sich um eine echte oder eine fiktive Webseite handelt. Ansonsten war alles bestens organisiert!

Lovely home in a beautiful spot!
Pros: This is a beautiful vacation home and the location is incredible. Being on the ocean, listening to the waves all day and night was surreal. The surrounding scenery is stunning and the home is well equipped with everything one would need for a comfortable stay.
Cons: The one thing that wasn't ideal was the temperature of the home. We were very cold. The weather was not great and the wind and rain made everything damp. This would have been fine if the space heater worked well to heat the space, but it did not. It barely made a difference in the temperature inside and some days it felt warmer outside than inside depending on the time of day. We wouldn't have minded so much if our toddler didn't have such a hard time sleeping in the cold each night. The doors were not sealed and on particularly rainy days water would come in through the bottom of one of the doors on the lower level. On a hot summer day this wouldn't be that bad, but in the colder off season it made for a slightly uncomfortable stay.
