Overall, it was good, but it could have been great !

Pros: The location was very nice ! We had an amazing view of the ocean from the house and a pretty big waterfall. The staff were also very nice and helpfull !

Cons: 1. When we came, late at night, we were greeted by the neighbors cat, which we initially found cute, until we saw he had brought a dead rabbit on to the door step…not the first thing you want to see on a stormy windy night in the middle of the ocean. 2. The other negative aspect ware the insects which came inside the house. Maybe put some nets at the windows to avoid them getting inside. 3. The sofa in the living room was supposed to open into a bed. It was broken. Our friend had to sleep on half of it. 4. The house is quite humid and cold. I understand it’s typical of houses near the sea/ocean, but it would be great to have more heaters.

Pros: Beautifull window view Kitchen equipped with basic utensils

Cons: There was a fireplace (grill?) inside witch left a smell, luckilly we didnt smell it in the bedrooms

Overall a very nice & relaxing stay

Pros: Spacious house on a edge next to sea. Equipped with almost everything you need for a stay. Very calm location. easy checkin & checkout process.

Cons: Beds were bit uncomfortable, we felt rooms get quite humid in the night once windows are closed and there is no ventilation system. Not a negative point but location of the house was bit too remote for us to find restaurants & all.

Beautiful property with an amazing view

Pros: We arrived at the property in the afternoon and the check-in was very easy as there was a key lock on the property

Northern Secret treasure of a home!

Pros: This house is in the most stunning location. With nothing in front except one garden of vines and then the sea! A lovely sea breeze kept the house cool and mosquitos away. No close neighbours and incredible views. With the mountains behind and your own waterfall view we couldn't have been happier with our choice! Sadly only stayed 3 nights as it was all that was available, but would have happily stayed there for all of our trip rather than swapping to another Apartment. It was shiny clean inside with a nice design and comfy beds! A bathroom for each bedroom was super handy too having come here with my partner and my parents! Rooftop view was fab. I will definitely stay here again if I get to come back to Madeira! Hosts were really helpful and quick to contact back too when Google mislead us about the location of the house up the wrong street! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Cons: Nothing we didn't like!

Pros: Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Stets freundlich. Alles hat unkompliziert geklappt. Das Haus ist wie auf den Bildern. Es war sogar Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine vorhanden.

Cons: Im unteren Bad und dem kleineren Schlafzimmer gab es Ameisen. Generell war das Untergeschoss etwas feucht, was aber auch auf die Bauweise und das Wetter zurückgeführt werden kann. Eine Klimaanlage für die Schlafzimmer wäre schön (auch um die Feuchtigkeit etwas zu reduzieren) aber von den Temperaturen war es dennoch angenehm.

Calme

Pros: La situation du lieu, le calme et la vue sur l'océan. La maison disposait de tout le confort possible (literie, sanitaire, cuisine, etc ...). Une place de parc était disponible devant la maison. Porche de tout et proche de rien, un endroit reposant au possible.

Pros: Phantastische Lage! Blick von der Dachterrasse auf das Meer und in den Sonnenuntergang!! Haus ohne direkte Nachbarn! \

Cons: Die Wendeltreppe ist für sehr kräftige und große Mitteleuropäer eine kleine Herausforderung. Der Tisch auf der Dachterrasse ist für 4 Personen doch etwas zu klein....

Mooi verblijf op een fantastische plek

Pros: De locatie is fantastisch. Genieten van rust, het uitzicht en het geluid van de zee/waterval.

Pros: Wunderschönes Haus, perfekt ausgestattet und sehr idyllisch und ruhig gelegen.
