Pros: Clarisse was a wonderful host. The casa, with it's luscious gardens and stunning views,was beautiful place to be we didn't want to leave.

Casa de Portada is a hidden gem with a pool, space, and a kind owner.

Pros: Casa de Portada is a hidden gem in the mountains! The house is super spacious, very comfortable and has everything you need. The pool is big and very nice in a beautiful garden. The owner is really kind and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Perfect place if you’re looking for peace, space and a bit of luxury in a beautiful setting.

Very nice accommodation in beautiful quiet part of the island.

Pros: Plenty of space. Very nice well sized garden (little private park) and privacy.

Cons: There is no washing machine in the property and the nearest laundry service is about 15 km (20 min drive) away

Pros: the owner has been very helpful, providing useful recommendations on what to do and where to eat. He was also so kind as to do some grocery shopping for us as we were arriving late and wouldn't have been able to find a shop open. The swimming pool and the garden were absolutely fabulous.

Cons: There is not much negative point to raise since the house was really nice, but it would be useful to get additional heaters during this period of the year (although I am sure that most of the year this is not needed). Also, some more utensils to cook would be valuable.

Pros: Beautiful house and gardens with amazing views, stunning location and ideal for exploring the most amazing island. I travelled with my family - my son loved it, he said it was he favourite holiday!

Cons: Cannot fault the property, it was fantastic, but pleased be prepared for the hills, I would recommend hiring a powerful car.

Pros: The house is beautiful and communication with the host is really good! The house is a little slice of paradise, with a stunning garden. There's a lovely pool and the area is nice and quiet.

Cons: Slightly tricky to find, but we managed in the end😂. The house needs a little renovation, as the kitchen felt a bit humid, and some furniture is a bit old, but there weren't any signs of mold and it was really clean, it's purely aesthetic!

Pros: Prachtig gelegen! Mooie grote huis en tuin. We werden geweldig opgevangen. Heerlijk rustig genieten en niet te ver van leuk plekjes en restaurant en winkels. Eigenaar kwam even gedag zeggen en liet ons het kerkje bij het huis (privé eigendom) van binnen zien. Heel verrassend. Super aanrader dus!

Verblijven in de natuur van Madeira, heerlijk!

Pros: Ontzettend vriendelijke mensen. Een prachtige tuin, waar je gelijk het gevoel van Madeira krijgt. Veel privacy en ruimte. Het zwembad is fijn. Omgeving heerlijk om tot rust te komen. Goed bereikbaar. Supermarkt om de hoek. Prima plek om te koken, een oven is een goede toevoeging. Zeker een aanrader! Voor herhaling vatbaar!!
