A great place for solo travellers looking for a comfy place to sleep
Pros: The room is everything you might need during your stay. Clean, spacious for one person, has a small kitchen with several appliances, plenty of storage blankets if you travel during the cooler season. The host was great, very responsive and helpful.
Cons: Not that I didn't like but one small thing to take into consideration: the room is in the center of a plaza so there are local bars and restaurants, which during the evening can get a bit noisy.

Very good time in Funchal
Pros: The host was very kind to us, we could write to her if we have any questions or issues. The apartment has a very good location, by walk you could reach the grocery or the market. I recommend it totally 💯

Good apartment in the city center of Madeira
Pros: The location is very centrally located and clean The apartment has a small kitchen to cook, a TV and a bathroom with shampoo and bathing gels.
Cons: The bed is a bit hard to sleep. As others said, it's a bit noisy at night sometimes till 2 am because of outside people.

A lovely little place, well worth the money
Pros: Everything in the studio apartment. The interior soundproofing is good, but, as other reviewers have said, there are street people outside at night and noisy cafes during the day.
Cons: No written instructions inside the apartment as to what to do with the keys on checking out. Technology does not always work. (I couldn't access the emailed instructions on my tablet.)

Wonderful!
Pros: This was the nicest place I stayed in Madeira; super comfortable with small added touches really giving it a “homey” feeling. Everything is within walking distance and the owner is super kind. She waited for me past midnight to let me in due to a delayed flight, and was always available over the phone.
Cons: Nothing at all, I’d highly recommend it!

Perfect simple flat in a great location
Pros: Just what I needed as a solo traveller for one week. The flat was exactly as described in the photos and in a great location near to the old town and shops. The owner was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble - e.g. she provided a corkscrew during the week when I found there wasn't one in the kitchen, and she allowed me to leave my suitcase in the wardrobe until the afternoon of the day of check out, which allowed me to spend another day out and about.
Cons: As other reviewers have said, the square below the flat (which has got a lovely café atmosphere during the day) is frequented by homeless people at night, even though there is a homeless hostel nearby. When I was there several people used to gather in a doorway near the flat and talk loudly until the early hours of the morning, which disturbed my sleep. But I know there is nothing the owner can do about this, it was a minor thing, and it didn't feel dangerous to come and go from the flat after dark.

Pros: Расположение в самом центре, есть все необходимое, в том числе плита и микроволновка. Удобная кровать, хороший интернет.
Cons: Может быть немного шумно ночью от бездомных на площади, которая прямо под окнами. Но беруши помогают, так что мне особо не мешало.
