Pros: The place and the owners are wonderful and the morning bread, eggs and fruits available really make your day. You can enjoy your privacy in the room with a breathtaking ocean view but also spend time with other guests and owners in a beautiful house and garden.

Pros: Our stay at The Goat’s Place was absolutely wonderful! Jorge and Antonio were such warm and welcoming hosts. We felt at home from the very first moment. Every morning, we were treated to fresh bread, eggs straight from their garden, and delicious fruits like dragonfruit and bananas. The place itself is spotless (someone comes by daily to clean, and she’s incredibly sweet too), with a breathtaking view and the cutest animals around. There’s only one other guest room, so it feels very private and peaceful and the few people we met there were always lovely. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you, Jorge and Antonio, for creating such a special place, we would come back in a heartbeat!

Pros: It's a really lovely place, the luxury of getting eggs and delicious bread every morning is wonderful. The host is very friendly and kind. We definitely recommend the Goats place.

Pros: Felt welcomed and like home from the very start, the owners helped me with parking the car when I first arrived cause I was to scared with the steep roads and in the dark. (Although they never drove automatic before they didn’t hesitate to help me) You get fresh bread, drinks and food from their garden every day, the jacuzzi can be used any time and is always ready and warm. Very clean and peaceful place, would always come back again. Obrigada 🫶🏻

Pros: Nice hosts, nice bread in the morning. Have kitchen we can use.

Cons: Nothing. Note that you need a car to stay here. And you need to be a good driver to survive driving in Madeira and you need to bring a good navigator.

A truly cozy and welcoming stay with amazing hosts, great views, and lots of thoughtful touches.

Pros: We felt right at home staying with Antonio and George. Their house is beautiful, clean, and cozy – the kind of place where you immediately slow down and relax. Our room was comfortable and had its own little heater, so we were warm even in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked, including fresh eggs from their chickens. And the cake they baked for us? Absolutely delicious! One of the highlights was definitely the outdoor hot tub with a sea view – perfect for unwinding. Antonio and George are wonderful hosts: kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have guests. And their adorable dog in the garden? Just the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

Pros: Amazing views, lovely hosts. The room and house were spotless. The bed was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the goats and chickens. Really enjoyed our stay and we would love to go back.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Very clean, accommodating, easy communication, good size, modern. Delicious cakes. Not the best parking spaces and a bit of a remote location. Shared bathroom. Amazing kitchen. We would love to stay there again.

Pros: This is the best stay you can ask for. Hosts are súper kind, place is clean, confortable, has all you can ask for and is quiet. Nice location to move around the island. Just unbeatable.
