Lovely location, oceanview, gorgeous villa.

Pros: Lovely location, oceanview, gorgeous, large villa. Clothes dryer is a huge bonus!

Cons: Winter heating is an issue, just as expected - same in Italy, Spain, Greece. Bring an extra sweater for the winter holidays and you'll be happy!

Very nice house near Porto da Cruz.

Pros: Good location, just outside the village of Porto da Cruz. Beautiful, luxurious house, albeit a bit dated. House is made of quality materials and very roomy with a beautiful garden. Our room is very spacious with large bathroom (with bidet) and balcony. House has a common large kitchen (with complete utensils), a separate laundry room, a recreation area with billiard table and an area for barbequeing. Large private parking. Best of all: a very nice and friendly host (Sonia). Excellent communication with Sonia.

Cons: When you come from a lowland (Holland) you need to get used to have to drive quite a steep road to reach the house.

Pros: Fantastic Stay! We absolutely loved our recent stay! The terrace grill was fantastic, and having a billiard table was a lot of fun. Our room was great, and the cleanliness was exemplary. Highly recommend – we'll definitely be back!

Very friendly host. Spacious house. Fabulous vew

Pros: The whole house is large and extremely clean. The view from the balcony is fabulous. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is comfortable

Cons: I didn't appreciate it was far from the village. Hardly walking distance, especially at night. The owner's husband was really kind to come and pick us up after our dinner otherwise we would still be waiting for a cab. I also didn't realise that it was a shared bathroom.

Exceptional house

Pros: The house is bigger than usual and offers lots of space in and out. The bedroom/bathroom/kitchen/outdoor spaces were huge and well equipped. Bed and linen perfect. Parking is inside the property. The host was nice.

Cons: The house is a bit far from town but not a major issue if one has a car.

Pros: Sonia is a very kind and helpful host. The accommodation was comfortable, especially the beds with soft blankets. We enjoyed using the kitchen for breakfasts and dinners. And the terrace was perfect for enjoying the sunset behind the mountains.
