Pros: The location was great with views of surrounding mountains. Less than 10.minutes walk to the centre. Good location to use it as your base while visiting Madeira.

Pros: Location. View. Cool house. I liked that it was hidden.

Pros: Location very good for hiking.Sao Vicente good little town shop and snackbars near by,everything what is needed.

Cons: In the downstairs room the wifi isn't working. I can imagine its an old building and the walls are thick,but maybe it could be an easy fix with a wifi-signal stronger device.Not a big investment and it will make the stay even more pleasent.Rather than that good value for money.

The price is okay, but it needs attention from the owners.

Pros: The location was very good, there were plenty of parking spaces available. The room was clean and the cleaning staff cleaned the bathroom and kitchen every day with great care. Having a kitchen was very helpful. A large market opened the day before we checked out, which was a big upgrade for the accommodation.

Cons: All the shared places I've stayed at allowed guests to use the common areas after check-out, such as the kitchen and bathroom, but that wasn't possible here. As our flight was late, we asked if we could keep the bath towels, since we wanted to go to the beach and could return to take a shower before the trip, but they said no. The kitchen was missing some utensils, such as a non-stick frying pan and silicone utensils. A microwave would also have been useful. The house urgently needs pest control. The shower in the bathroom was terrible. According to the owner, a part had broken and they were having trouble finding a replacement, but in that situation, the entire shower should have been replaced, especially since the other bathroom was being renovated (it was finished at the end of our stay).

Pros: Location and quietness. Definitely need a car but easy to get to everywhere if you have one.

Pros: Great location, cosy room and comfortable bed. Beautiful view from the terrace. Good value for money.

Really great

Pros: I got a little lost finding the way into the property. I tried the first 2 doors that were locked and not the third which was the correct one. I called the owner and he was so so helpful and talked me through to my room. I would definitely come back I loved the vibe and the people here were so friendly.

Pros: I loved the personal. They let me check in 2hours before check in time, free of charge.

Pros: I loved the simplicity. I feltet like I am spending a night in a grandmother's house. All the doors, beds, shelf's are made out of wood and they look old, and built like they have served 100 years and will serve even more☺️ Everything was clean. I ended up spending one more night here, in spite of me trying to book as many hotels as possible ☺️ The nature surrounding the hostel is stunning 🥰 the house has shared balcony where I was drinking my morning coffees, looking at the mountains ☺️

Cons: I had problems finding the adress, because like 3 houses have number 6. And navigation screamed that I am there already. Of course, I went into 2 wrong houses before reaching hotel+ got a little tour from 2 nice Portogise women
