Perfect stay for tired hikers

Pros: Lovely staff, great location, nice breakfast, cozy rooms. Simple but beautiful, for us the perfect place.

Best place on the Fisherman’s trail

Pros: Best hotel in the area- great value for money. Great breakfast and you can use the microwave and boiler also during the day.

Cons: It is outside of Arrifana but that is part of the game (a great hotel at unbeatable price)

Relaxed, comfy, good value

Pros: Lovely tea and coffee; relaxed, airy atmosphere and decor. Good value for money with tasty breakfast...and a resident cat!

Cons: Like many places, they are struggling with humidity in a wet winter, but with the heater on we were still pretty comfy.

Pros: Cheap, room spacious, nice (cold) outside pool and all-day coffee. Nice bathroom with a bath.

Cons: A bit away from everything, especially for hikers. The room was extremely basic (although clean). The breakfast starts very late, so its useless for hikers and I had to get my own when I left in the morning, even though it was included in the price. This is a repeating issue for accommodations along the Rota Vicentina, and it would be really nice if the owners reflected on this and started serving breakfast ideally at 7AM.

Pros: The staffs are all very nice. The breakfast is nice. I especially love their tea selection. I could imagine this would be a perfect summer vacation house!

Cons: The textiles (floor and wall) made the room very cold and also very humid after taking a shower. I think to make the bed warmer, they offered extra blankets. But overall the room is still too cold.

Great Stay

Pros: This was a great property. We really appreciated how the property has been given a simple makeover to make it stylish and good value. It was very relaxed, comfortable and clean. Good sheets, good shower and good breakfast. Friendly welcome. Great stopover on the Fisherman’s Trail.

Pros: On the big plus side is that you can make yourself coffee and tea whenever you want :) breakfast is good! And the most important plus is the pleasant atmosphere and the people at the reception!

Pros: Beautiful and comfy room, access to tea making (essential part of the holiday) downstairs, good breakfast. Sadly lots of facilities we didn’t get to use as we were there too short a time. Seemed quite far from the fisherman’s trail on map (still chose as liked the look of it) but the way from the coast (going north) passes lots of restaurants, and there’s a nice cut through back to the trail next day
