Lovely Burgau villa just 3 mins walk from beach

Nice villa near the beach

Pros: A well kept villa with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Ideally located for us as we were there for a wedding which was being held on the beach just a few minutes walk away

Overall. a lovely villa. We have had a thoroughly enjoyable week and would be happy to stay there again in the future

Pros: Location - close to a lovely beach Property well equipped Spacious & lovely private garden & pool

Cons: Air conditioning would have made it a more comfortable stay. Although there were lots of fans, air conditioning work have been a better option.

Pros: Stor härlig villa med underbar utomhusplats och pool. 2 km till byn med restauranger, vi använde Bolt och Uber. Nära stranden som är fin men med lite stenig botten. Stranden i Burgau var underbar. Fina vandringsleder precis runt knuten. Värdens pappa Kevin var mycket tillmötesgående och löste ett enklare problem med stopp i vasken snabbt.

Cons: Skulle ha varit lite skönare med AC men fanns fläktar i alla rum. Finns en del mygg på kvällen men inget värden kan göra något åt, myggmedel i uttagen fungerade bra!

Pros: Lovely house with a pool. Many places to sit and relax.

Cons: Only 1 nearby restaurant and it closed early, and no shops. We easily uber’d to the next town for dinner. Not a problem!

Very nice home with great access to hiking. Beautiful pool area.

Pros: Outside area was beautiful and spacious. The pool and landscaping were impressive.

Cons: Overall, the interior of the house was not very clean. Bathrooms and kitchen were in need of more attention. The home smelled a bit musty and the linens needed to be updated and freshly laundered.

Loved it there - wish we had booked a longer stay. Likely to go back.

Pros: The host was friendly and communicative. The house was beautiful and well kept, the pool was perfect, and the location was great!

Pros: Schitterende locatie, gezellig huis. Rust en ontspanning. Mooie uitvalsbasis om naar de andere steden te gaan. Best wel een auto huren om je te verplaatsen.

Cons: Geen zeezicht, auto nodig

Fabulous house!

Pros: Amazing house in an amazing location. I would definitely stay again. Very close access to a nice beach and within walking distance to ruins of a castle on the hillside overlooking the ocean. When we arrived, we met the owners father who let us in. He was very nice and gave us some helpful information about things to do in the area and places to eat. I would definitely recommend staying in this house if you plan to visit southern Portugal.

Cons: I think communication regarding check in could have been a bit better. We were instructed to text the housekeeper an hour before arrival and she was to let us in. We texted her twice but she never responded. I think contactless check in would have been easier for both parties. Thankfully the owners father was at the house when we arrived so we were able to get in but the housekeeper didn't show up until 3 hours later and was angry that we never called her. We also had to share three bath towels between four people. There was a washing machine so we made do but extra linens would have been nice.
