The Docks

Very enjoyable, and would recommend for those looking for a quite location

Pros: The property was clean, spacious and comfortable, located by the small harbour which had a waterfall, very relaxing

Cons: Access to the property could be problematic at busy times due to the parked cars reducing the road to a single carriageway

Our second time at The Docks (previously villa #1). Great to return. Paul do Mar has more of a vibe than six years ago -

Pros: Spacious, clean. Great views. Handy for restaurants/bars

Cons: Parking a lot less easy than description suggests. Kitchen utensils - some need replacing as do not work well (scissors, cork screw/bottle opener)

Brilliant apartment in great location. Excellent hosts

Pros: Great space but be aware this is three apartments not a villa

Pros: Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property. Great position overlooking the water and a lot of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Beds comfortable and nice linen and towels. Lots to do in the area particularly if you have a car.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, all excellent!

Pros: Fascinating place, complete peace, easy accessibility and at the same time all services within reach.

Beautiful location and high quality apartment but busy.

Pros: Lovely location & Pedro took the time to meet us to check all was ok. Apartment is nicely appointed and comfortable with great sea views. Good,location for levadas and western attractions. Plenty of good little places to eat very close.

Cons: Unfortunately this place is a sun set hot spot and we struggled to park. Even Pedro’s private area was stolen by locals and tourists at times - there is no signage to say private to be fair. Saturday night was party central on the street right outside and our sleep was affected. Whilst there is air con this is in the living area not the bedrooms. It could get stuffy and so you open the windows which is fine as long as it’s quiet outside. So just be aware.
