Du.Val - Madeira Valley Villa

Amazing place with the best host ever!

Pros: We had the most amazing stay at this house in the mountains. The location is absolutely perfect—tucked away in a peaceful setting with breathtaking views, yet still easy to reach. The house itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. From the cozy living area with a fireplace to the spacious bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen, every detail felt thoughtful and high quality. One of our favorite parts was simply sitting outside and enjoying the quiet, fresh air, and stunning scenery. It’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and feel connected to nature. The hosts were wonderful as well—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect mountain getaway!

Amazing house in a stunning location!

Pros: Absolutely loved the house - the location and view were amazing and the house was beautifully renovated. The place had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts met us on the first night and left us a delicious cake which made the stay even better. Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

Cons: Nothing to note!

Great

Pros: Extremely welcoming hosts, great location and filled with all the necesities, also cemtral on the island so made it easier to go about the island.

Amazing house in beautiful setting

Pros: The views were absolutely spectacular and the chance to experience life in a small rural setting in Madeira was amazing. The three bathrooms were fantastic- the property has been renovated exceptionally well.

Cons: As two members of our family have disability the lack of heating in the property was a problem. We were unlucky to experience Madeira during a cold spell but we had to light the fire every night and this did not heat all the rooms. We had a few power outages when using the cooker.

Great place to stay.

Pros: The villa was fantastic! beautiful home and gorgeous surroundings. View was a picture! Very private and quiet area with short distance by car to the shop and restaurant. On our arrival we met Maria with her husband and as a surprise Maria made a cake for us, cake was delicious. Maria gave us information about villa and where to shop and eat. Villa had all the items for family stay. Fire place was in use a lot in this time of the year and heated house nicely, there was enough wood for our stay and we had private parking space which was great for hire car. Bathrooms were very clean and plenty towels for use. I would recommend to hire medium car as roads in some areas are very narrow. I'm sure we will return one day.

Cons: There was nothing not to like about our stay. We were very satisfied.

Pros: A magnificent villa with wonderful hosts. Conveniently located for exploring various interesting spots on the island. Equipped with everything you need and more. Many thanks to the hosts for their hospitality!

Pros: Great hosts and amazing location. Will definitely come back

Pros: La ubicación, la casa, la amabilidad de los dueños

Cons: Nada
