Pros: This accomodation has a great location with an amazing view, among local people close to sunny Calheta. There is a road leading to the middle of the island, so its very convenient. The balcony is amazing, everything was clean and spacious. For me the equipment was a bit oldfashioned and we struggled with very high humidity, windows vere completely wet every day, but my family liked it there very much. Ricardo is a nice guy, easy to talk and we appriciated food and drinks ready for us. Thank you.

Very nice place. Ricardo fixed everything that wasn’t already great.
Pros: Great view. Nice and quiet. Everything was clean and the apartment looked well kept.
Cons: It was somewhat damp. There was a cat that wanted attention.

Perfect gem with a perfect view!
Pros: What a gem of apartment/house! It was perfectly clean, totally cosy, better equipped than my own kitchen ;-) and Ricardo was such a sweet owner! He showed up personally so we could have a nice quick chat, provided us with good recommendations about Madeira - what to do, where to eat, etc and we were welcomed with a basket full of fruits, wine, bred, a typical madeiran cake and in the fridge was some cheese, ham, water and even a big bottle of local beer! The best part was the s t u n n i n g view from the patio that surrounds the whole house! HIGHLY recommend this gem!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! Its excellent location provided a truly pleasant experience, offering beautiful views of both the ocean and mountains directly from the balcony. The accommodation itself was spacious and noticeably clean, making it comfortable for our entire stay. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful provision of everyday household essentials, which made our visit very convenient. Our host was remarkably welcoming and kind; we were greeted with a lovely selection of local Madeiran treats and wine, a gesture that made us feel right at home. Furthermore, he demonstrated great flexibility and understanding regarding our arrival and departure times, adapting to our schedule with ease. We would certainly recommend this place for a pleasant and enjoyable visit.

Pros: 😁: I had an amazing stay at Ricardo’s place! The views were absolutely exceptional – you could see both the majestic mountains surrounding the property and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean in the distance. It felt like a peaceful retreat with nature all around. The house itself was well-equipped, with everything we needed to feel right at home, from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy living spaces. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and even offering great local recommendations. The location in the mountains provided a perfect mix of seclusion and breathtaking scenery, while still offering easy access to nearby attractions. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in nature! ☹️: Nothing to dislike. We stayed with a year old baby and like I described, host provided us with crib, high chair, extra heating. Basically it is the best place to stay for families!

Pros: Thank you for amazing hospitality. Starter pack with fruits, wine and everything else is a great idea as we didn’t have to worry about breakfast at all. Flat was clean and well prepared. Kitchen is equipped with all necessary utensils. Apartment is beautiful, it really is spacious, full of natural light and everything in it is made of solid wood. It has a soul. In short it’s an amazing apartment with spectacular views. It was memorable stay and we will definitely be back on island and in that same spot. It would be really hard to find place matching this one. Again, thank you so much for letting us stay here.
