Pros: Michael and How wife erre Just amazing, They helped me on everything. It was só perfect that i could not describe. The jacuzzi with the sunset gosh How beautifull that is. House so cozy everything clean and prepared for us. Amazing experience.

Great stay in this local & authentic accomodation!

Pros: Michael is an amazing host. We enjoyed our stay very much in this Casa! This is a very local & authentic stay in Calheta. The facilities in the room were great (cutlery, kitchen, hairdryer, table, even a jacuzzi ;)

Pros: Excellent location if you are looking for a quiet environment on the road leading to many levadas. Most of Madeira is easily accessible including the sandy Calheta beach nearby but you'll need a rental car that goes up the steep hills. Apartment is well equipped though the kitchen is a bit small, okay for some fish & steak, probably not for big family cooking. No windows or ocean view from the apartment but you just walk outside to the garden and there you have it: the ocean, the sunset and vegetables to use for cooking. Our host was very friendly and helpful with the ever changing weather and things to do. Highly recommended for two people.

The stay was amazingly relaxing and the hosts were great!

Pros: The owners are really friendly and helpful. The apartment is spacious and clean and has everything that you may need. It has the feeling of home and authenticity. You can also pick your own vegetables in the garden. The view is amazing.

Cons: It was a bit cold in the bathroom. Some heating there would be helpful. But it’s not something very inconvenient.

If I visit Madeira again (which I will) and this accommodation is available I will definitely book there again.

Pros: To be honest, this was my best experience with accommodations on booking so far. The hosts were warm and welcoming from minute one. The accommodation has everything your heart desires. A great kitchen with all the utensils, a comfortable bed, parking, a terrace with a wonderful view of the Atlantic and a breathtaking sunset and a vegetable garden.

Pros: Michael is a great guy, very friendly, hospitable and helpful. His house is unique becaurse of the envirenmental attude of his owner. He has a nice, ecological veg. garden, chicken that live their life happy and 4 lively, joyful cats. There is also a beautyful viev on the ocen from his tarace where you can enjoy sunsets . I recomment this place whale heartedly. Margaret

Great place to do the local hikes from

Pros: The hosts were super friendly. You could tell they enjoy hosting people. I had a bottle of wine and cookies waiting for me on arrival. The place had all the kitchen basics like oil and salt, which are key for short stays and avoiding waste. I had a lovely espresso machine and capsules already there. I even had fresh chicken eggs and radish from their garden left as treats. The place was cozy, just the right size and you were welcome to use the garden furniture. I got to watch rainy and sunny at the same time sunset from under patio roof. There are some really good hikes near by which is why I choose this place so well worth the steep signature drive of Madeira 😅

Cons: Everything was fine. Would have liked an oven, but not having one was a good excuse to eat out more.

Best accomodation

Pros: I stayed only one night in this location. The apartment is located in a very quiet area and equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Evgenia and Michael were superhosts. A bottle of wine, biscuits and some vegetables from their garden awaited us in the apartment. We felt very comfortable in their house and benefited from the recommendations received to visit the surroundings. I recommend this accommodation and if we visit Madeira again we will probably come back to you

Pros: Warm and lovely owners who try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Access to the patio with nice spot for watching the sunset. Good location with quick access to most famous levadas and good restaurants nearby. Great value for this price.
