Pros: Very convenient to restaurants and great views over sea . Cosy layout and all you need for a relaxing holiday . Great communication with the host

Beautiful stay by the ocean

Pros: We stayed in the 1st floor apartment with french balconies and big windows. Location just by the ocean is great, waves under the bedroom window were the best. The apartment is beautifully decorated and cozy. Good kitchen equipment. There was normally free parking available in the small parking lot next to the building.

Cons: If you're staying more than a few days it would be nice to have cleaning service, including fresh towels and sheets. For this price, a light cleanup midway through the stay would be reasonable. The bed is not the biggest (queen size maybe), it was not a problem for us, but worth a mention.

Beautiful apartments, great view, perfect location, but booking is confusing.

Pros: Te apartment is really tidy, beautiful both inside and outside and has a great location. The ocean is a few metres away, and one of the most beautiful beaches is also 2 minutes of walking distance.

Cons: The choices between apartments are a bit confusing, we originally thought that we are going to get the 1st floor apartment but instead we accidentally booked the one on the groundfloor. It would be much more straightforward if the naming would include the floors in our opinion. Also ventilation in the apartment is hard, since there are windows on only one side.

Good Location

Pros: Location. It was comfortable. Parking was available, although not a designated spot. There was a hot plate for a stove with no oven and a microwave that served us well as we ate out at night and had lunches while touring.

A great apartment with fab views, crashing waves, free parking in a very convenient location- perfect!

Pros: Loved the location beside crashing waves and near to local restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Easy parking and fab balcony.

Cons: When we had one very stormy night the extractor fan vent rattled all night. Couldn’t leave food like pastries out because of ants. Easily managed though would be useful to have a sealed box to put bread in.

Pros: Perfect location, very picturesque with lots of lovely places to eat within walking distance. Compact but comfortable apartment with great balcony which got sun most of the day when it was out.

Cons: Additional towels would have been appreciated rather than the requirement to wash your own. Was difficult to manage that as the weather was unpredictable so difficult to get them dry and who wants to be doing laundry when on holiday. There was also a bit of an ant problem in the kitchen area.

Amazing balcony and sea view

Pros: The apartement was cozy, the decorations and wooden ceiling made us feel like we were at the summer cottage of the grandparents. And the baclony, it was a real superstar of our stay. Amazing views of the ocean, you could see both the sunrise and sunset. Yes the apartement is rather small and there are things that could be improved, but the overall charm of this place (and balcony!!!) was great.

If we were to go to Madeira again, stay further down west coast away from Camino de Labos in the smaller villages.

Pros: Location perfect looking out over the sea in a very sunny and quiet location. Such a perfect location that people stopped us to ask the property contact details. We had the apartment on the middle floor with three big French windows looking out to the sunshine and sea. Also car parking available and free. 20+ degree weather was exactly what we wanted for a quiet accommodation in December, and we got it. This apartment was set in a little quiet oasis in a bustling Camina le Labos.

Cons: Bed needed a heavier duvet for December, fresh towels mid week and hotter shower water. But all together, excellent quiet location, good kitchen, and very comfy living room and bedroom.

An excellent stay in a delightful fishermen’s village

Pros: Excellent seafront location in Camara de Lobos. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of work going on around the village and the coastline (no access to beach). Nice view on the Ocean and only 5 minutes walk to the centre of the very pleasant village. The apartment was very nicely furnished, with lovely wood antique pieces, and the flat was very well maintained. It was useful to have a washing machine. The flat was comfortable, well appointed, and easy to live in. It was good to have a bedroom separate from the lounge.

Cons: Kitchen utensils and crockery were very limited, for this type of generally well-equipped flat (e.g. only one small frying pan, could hardly take more than a slice of fish; only 3 spoons and 4 tinny knives and forks; no colander,…). A small expense of less than €100 would make a nice difference in the kitchen. It would have been useful to have a second set of keys. The beach we were recommended (Praia Formosa) is a serious walk away — 30-40 minutes.
