Apartamentos Amarelo

Pros: Amazing location, right on the beach and apartament with a beautiful ocean view. The owner greeted us with a welcoming gift :) Bus stop located just out the door.

Cons: At the time when we stayed there they had to do some makeover in the apartament next door. The owner warned us that there will be some noise that day, and it was a one time thing, so overall we had a great experience!

Pros: You have to stay here if you are wanting a home away from home in Caniçal. The well stocked and spacious apartments are literally right on the harbour bay front. In particular, although the apartments have a well layed out kitchen and cooking facilities, the Amarelo restaurant below serves traditional tasty Portuguese cuisine. If your coming to Madeira, you should consider Caniçal, the village has everything but at a more relaxed environment than Funchal. The prices are good and the quality is great.

Cons: That's a good question. I am struggling to find anything that I disliked about staying here at Amarelo Apartments.

Pros: Fair price, cozy apartment! Location was perfect with stunning ocean view, big apartment, more than enough place for 3 people

Cons: Noise - when the town celebrates something - you will hear it all the night. But it is not the issue of apartment- it’s because of the square - right through the road - so keep earplugs with you. Some things to improve: Apartment has air-dryer, iron, pans, caps, ets, more than enough towels - but there were no sugar, olive oil or shampoo. Just salt and hand soap. I didn’t see first aid kit too + no light in the hallway (easy to fix- screw in few light bulbs) Also we felt a bit abandoned with minimal host support - we asked how to use washing machine and only the next day we got reply - that we could ask someone in the restaurant.

Pros: Nice location right at the water front, good place to stay for a few nights, offers all that is needed for an appartment. Mostly in good shape, even if a bit older. Helpful staff & restaurant below

Pros: Very clean, well equipped, close to the bus stop and above an excellent restaurant.

Great for short stays

Pros: Easy checkin. Very clean and functional apartment. Kitchen with fridge, stove, etc. Convenient location. Easy to find free parking around.

Cons: Noisy neighborhood.

Best host i ever had!

Pros: The apartment was clean and we enjoyed our stay a lot but the best part was the owner. The owner was exceptional. He always helped us even at 6 in the morning when we came across an issue for which i am so thankfull for. Best host i have ever had!

Pros: Very nice appartment ...friendly host ...communication goes very smooth ..we like it there very much ...but one little tip ...maybe a light by the backdoor where you come in .because when we came home it was very dark 😉 So we had to you use the light of our phone 😁 But for the rest all was very good Kind regards Marc and Susan van den Broek
