sweet home

Perfect stay ♥️

Pros: Very close to PR 8 trail, can go by foot ( 5 km). Close to beautiful beach Prainha do Caniçal. Quiet little city.

Home feeling after a very long walk

Pros: Open plan living very well decorated and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the room very well decorated. Shower, again well designed, easy to use facilities and comfortable. Very clean and tidy ☺️ I had cake for breakfast that was made by his wife, and was amazing. 🤩 I am travelling solo and done lots of miles walking and arriving to this place was almost like arriving home, yes is that comfortable and pleasant. Muito obrigado por tudo 🥰 Muitas felicidades e sucesso 🥰 A torta estava divinal 😍

Cons: Nothing from my point of view was all perfect 🤩

Pros: Apartment is very clean with private parking in front of building. It has air conditioner and washing machine. Host Guido and his wife are very friendly and helpful. Edite left us her delicious cake in the fridge, a we've got her excellent pastel de nata in the morning.

Pros: It was absolutely fantastic. The best accommodation I've ever stayed in, and I use Booking quite a lot (genius level 3).

Worth every penny!

Pros: I wish I can stay more days. Just like the picture, wonderful house, got everything you need. Clean and safe, comfortable bed, it's quiet when the windows is closed at night. Landlord is friendly and generous. There are some bars and nice restaurants nearby. Canical is a beautiful town, it's worth exploring. you can also take the SAM bus 113 to Funchal, about 40 mins.

Great apartment with even greater hosts

Pros: The apartment is well-equipped and beautifully furnished. Because of it's location in Caniçal it can serve as a great base for exploring the eastern side of Madeira. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and pleasant people, even bringing us a beautiful (and delicious) cake and home-made pastries for breakfast every day. Safe and simple parking right at the front door is always available and the neigborhood is nice. Highly recommended!

Pros: Helpful hosts treated us to delicious pastries. Near the coast.

Cons: Squeaky bed

Pros: In this small town, near Funchal, lives a family with a big heart. For us, it was an unforgettable stay in a very cozy and nice hotel, home-style, not far from the ocean embankment. The owners of this charming place are very hospitable and nice people who love their visitors and treat them with great respect and care. But the most unexpected surprise, so to speak, the cherry on the cake, awaits you upon check-in - this is the gift that is given upon check-in, this is the cake ‼️👏made with the golden hands of the hotel owner Idita herself. And every morning she continued to treat us with traditional Pashtel-de-nata👍. We highly recommend staying at this hotel, which smells of home and love 🙏🙏🙏 Best Regards, Boris and Irina

perfect experience with easy access of the Vereda da Ponta de São Lourenço

Pros: Guido was really nice, waited for us and explained everything. also i want to praise him as when we were soaked and all our clothes wet he took everything and dried it for us in his machine with no extra charge. And did I mention the OReo cake in the fridge waiting for us ? :) perfect customer experience!

Cons: the matress/bed was noisy and a bit stressy to sleep for 2.

Pros: We had a great stay. Guido and his wife are extremely welcoming and friendly. The house was well equipped and clean. Highly recommended it ☺️
