Casa da Avo by Atlantic Holiday

Pros: The house was renovated, freshly painted and furnished with new IKEA furniture. We met with the owner and had interesting conversations, he is a very nice guy, brought us a local wine and tangerines as a gift. A hot tub in the garden was amazing and we could relax after treks and heat up during colder nights (December).

Cons: We had ants in the corridor, in the kitchen, and in the fridge attacking our food. We were trying to fight with them but they always appeared. This issue we experienced in many houses across Madeira.

It was a great stay, definitely recommended!

Pros: The apartment has 2 rooms: 1 double bed and one single bed (with private bathroom). Which is very convenient for a family with 1 child. Kitchen has all the necessary kitchen utensils; everything functions and looks nice. There is also a grill outside, so one can organize a barbecue. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the grill cleaning utensils: one-use sponges, grill shovel, coal hand blower will be helpful 😉

Cons: A bit noisy street due to daily traffic and steep rise, also close to the airport.

Pros: La posizione della casa e la vista sul promontorio e mare , stanza lavanderia.

Cons: Non era pulitissima , parecchio umida con muffa presente nelle tende delle finestre, pecca materasso scomodo ( era girato dal lato opposto perché sporco )

Pros: Localização espetacular, casa bem equipada, muito confortável.

Cons: Uma das camas não estava completa, e havia lençóis mal lavados.

Pros: Ładne i przestronne pokoje, dobre wyposażenie, ładny widok na ocean.

Cons: Lokalizacja przy ulicy, niestety ulica bardzo mocno uczęszczana, dużo aut w ciągu całego dnia i do późnego wieczora, co powoduje uciążliwy hałas. Słaby ekspres do kawy.

it's a great apartment despite some minor issues

Pros: Communication with the host was amazing! Easy self check-in, great video instruction. They were always responsive, very professional and helpful. Provided a crib and a feeding chair for our baby despite we requested it the very last minute. It's a 2 floor building with 2 units with a separate entrance for each apartment. We stayed in the ground floor unit. There is super nice patio with table, umbrella and chairs, so nice for breakfasts or dinners with a view. There was plenty of kitchen ware, big toaster, coffee machine, microwave, all the plates, utensils and everything you may need in the kitchen. Additional blankets, pillows, bed sheets. Washing machine (just buy some detergent) was great to have. Dedicated parking spots were also so good to have.

Cons: In general it's a great property but there were couple small things some of which can be improved. We stayed in the ground floor unit, and there is one significant trouble which is I'm not sure can be fixed by the host - it's cats pee smell. Most likely it appears because of the windows on the ground level in the kitchen and one bathroom, so cats simply do their stuff on the street but it smells inside apartment in the kitchen area. We bought some electric Glade against pet odors, so it helped a bit. Another annoying issue (but it is common for most places in Madeira as far as I understand) is ants. We had to clean all surfaces immediately after meals and keep ALL food in the fridge, and still there is a garbage bin, so you can't avoid ants :(( One bathroom definitely need some towel hooks or bars (we ended up using hangers from the wardrobe because there was literally nowhere to hang towel). And soundproofing is so bad, we could hear everything from the apartment above. But just as I said, it didn't mess our staying there, it's still a pleasant place

Niezapomniane wrażenia

Pros: Widok z Tarasu. Blisko do jednej z najlepszych plaż Prainha do Canical , Szlak na punkt św. Wawrzyńca. Dobra lokalizacja dla pięknych wschodów słońca !!!

Cons: Mrówki biegają po mieszkaniu, nie jest to jakiś wielki problem

Pros: Posizione ottima, si raggiunge ogni punto dell'isola al massimo in un'ora

Cons: La casa affaccia su una strada molto trafficata di giorno. Rumorosa

Apartament agradable i molt bona atenció

Pros: Tot molt net. Parada del bus a Funchal just davant.

Cons: L’habitació que no es podia tancar la porta si no movies el llit i les formigues.

Bon logement, bien placer

Pros: Très bon emplacement, nous avons passé 5 nuits, c'est un très beau logement propre, spacieux, fonctionnel, tout est neuf, nous avons eu 2 logements pendant notre séjour, en comparaison, la douche de celui ci est vraiment top à l'italienne et très classe, en plus du barbecue, du jacuzzi et de la place de parking. Il n'y avait pas de tancarville, le propriétaire voulait se déplacer pour m'en ramener un, c'est très gentil, je ne lui ai pas fais faire le déplacement pour si peu.

Cons: Pour ceux qui ne supporte pas le bruit la nuit, attention, manque d'isolation phonique. Nous entendons beaucoup les véhicules et les voisins du dessous. Ce qui a causé un peu problème pour mes nuits avec mon problème d'oreilles je ne pouvais pas mettre de boule caisse..
