It feels like home :)

Pros: We stayed in apartment C. At the 1st floor. The experience was great! You have a lot of space. A nice equiped kitchen, enough wardrobe space and confortable bed. The balcony is great space for a coffee in the morning. (The only downside but not a dealbreaker, is that you can still see your neighbors on both sides. But for us this was not a problem - but can be for someone who needs a bit more privacy) The bathroom is well equipped and spacious. There is no A/C. But as we booked the apartment in September, we did not miss it. On the plus side, there is a fan which does great job :) We had also rented a car. So the fact that you can park it in the apartment yard and do not have to bother with the parking space on the streat - is a big plus!

Good location, nice and clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: The kitchen was well kitted out and everywhere was clean. The location was ideal for catching the bus with a nice bar down the road. The communication was great through WhatsApp giving us all the information about self check in and any queries we had.

Cons: Like some other reviews have mentioned the fridge does get a bit loud at night.

Pros: - The room had all the facilities needed for a short or long stay. - Secure access to the building and apartment.

A comfortable stay

Pros: The apartment is very nice and clean. There was almost everything you need for a comfortable stay and the washing machine is definitely a big plus. The bed was comfortable and the linen fresh and clean. There is a small terrace outside, which we used to eat dinner and hang out, and had a nice view of the surrounding banana trees. There is a big fridge with freezer. Parking was also provided, which, given the location, was very welcome. Communication with the host was online, and they were helpful, responsive and attentive.

Cons: This depends on how much cooking you are planning to do, but we cooked dinner most days and would have liked more pots and pans, and perhaps a pasta strainer would be handy to have, as well as some bigger bowls for cereal (the ones in the apartment are pretty small). The hairdryer is provided, but it randomly stops working (and then starts working again after a couple of minutes), so keep that in mind if you’re in a hurry. The downside of the location is that chickens are kept nearby and the roosters are loud in the mornings, so make sure to bring earplugs, if you don’t want to wake up every day before 6:00.

Pros: A nice and new apartment with a terrace in the middle of a banana plantation.

Cons: The kitchen could be better equipped, there are not enough dishes and utensils. Polyester bedding.

Very clean house

Pros: The house was very clean and everything was exactly like the pictures. The host was very helpful and even left us a bottle of local wine to taste.

Cons: Everything was good.

Amazing landlady and her hospitality just conquered me.

Pros: I felt at home: all stuff, necessary kitchenware and facilities were perfect. Extra thanks for a great surprise when we arrived at the apartment.

Pros: The hosts are very helpful and the location is great away from the bustle of Funchal city . There’s a great taverna nearby Castrinohos with splendid craft beers mostly local Madeira beers .

Pros: + apartament miał kuchnię oraz łazienkę + wyposażony w dużą lodowke + piękny widok z okna

Cons: - dosyć zimno w nocy - szpara w drzwiach od dołu przez to wszystko było słychać z zewnątrz - koguty budzące rano i nie tylko rano ale także w nocy - tylko 2 rolki papieru na 8 dni to dosyć mało, dokładnie tak samo było z kawą 4 kapsułki, 2 woreczki na herbatę

Raj z widokiem na plantacje bananowców

Pros: Piękny widok z balkonu i parking w cenie to duża zaleta obiektu. Mieszkanie jest dobrze zaopatrzone, doceniamy pralkę z kapsułkami do prania, suszarkę do włosów, kuchnia jest zaopatrzona w przyprawy, kawę i herbatę, co pozwala na gotowanie. Gospodarz pomyślał nawet o kocu na chłodne wieczory. Polecamy!

Cons: Ekspres do kawy jest zepsuty, ale udało nam się wypić kawę po małej naprawie. Parking jest ciasny, ale nie stanowi trudności dla dobrego kierowcy.
