Pros: From the very beginning, excellent communication with the owner was maintained. The apartment was in excellent condition, with a fully equipped kitchen (including spices and other essentials), clean and functional. The garage was a huge plus, as there was no need to worry about finding a parking space, which is scarce everywhere. There was a terrace with sun loungers and a fantastic view, as well as the option to use the intimate swimming pool. Everything that was expected was there, so I can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment and the wonderful owner.

Pros: The host was so kind. He gave us the ride to cable car station.

Cons: Nothing special. The location is not appropriate for walking. But we can use Bolt instead of Uber. The price was so reasonable.

Pros: Exactly as described, with thoughtful touches like a complimentary gift and flexibility around check-in times. The host was highly responsive and considerate of individual needs, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The property felt very secure, with accessible locked garage and the super comfortable bed doubled as a sofa with the help of large pillow - a clever and appreciated detail. A lot of thought has gone into making the stay pleasant. I’ll definitely book another stay in advance!

Cons: The pool could be cleaned during guest stays to make the experience more inviting - it felt a bit awkward to ask. If the pool isn’t intended for guest use, that’s understandable and should be noted.

Pros: Everything was awesome. Host welcomed us incredibly in warm way. Good location if you have a car, if not there is bus stop near house. Rapida is close to apartment. Shop is close too. There is also nice view and swimming pool.

Pros: Nice, clean and equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Another plus is the peaceful outdoor space for relaxation, and you will also be greeted by a cuddly cat. If we ever visit Funchal again, we will be happy to come back here.

Cons: Definitely need a car to get to the apartment easily.

Pros: This is a tastefully decorated studio with all necessary facilities. I loved the garage and the kitchen, but I especially loved the terrace! Nuno made my check-in very easy.

Cons: One problem that applies to people with asthma and allergies is that - as in many properties in Portugal - it has a smell of mold. It goes away if you leave the window open.
