Pros: Very nice and welcoming host, nice view over the city and a cute little place to stay

Cons: Bathroom is a bit small, the bed was on the hard side but still fine. The neighbors dog barking all night was quite annoying, so better keep the windows closed.

Nice location, just outside tourist hot spot.

Lovely village apartment!

Pros: Very nice accommodation, lovely big comfortable bed 🤩. Washing machine very useful. Excellent information from Luiz, very friendly people. The pool was lovely - had a swim every morning- twice on our last day. Local people were very friendly and helpful- especially when the bus route got diverted for a ‘classic car’ show in the village square! Brilliant local supermarket with very helpful staff- and wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables as well as excellent butcher’s and very good prices- as Luiz told us 😊.

Cons: Bedroom a little hot and stuffy at night, but we don’t use Air conditioning- don’t like the noise and the energy it uses! Kettle was a bit erratic in use - had to wiggle it around a bit to work. Nothing major though. Beware if you don’t like church bells- they chime even quarter hour! However they stop late evening and start again at 7am(good wake up call).

Amazing location!

Pros: We had a fantastic stay here. The views over Funchal are amazing from the terrace, and the pool is lovely at any time. Facilities are good, and pretty much everything you'd need in terms of restaurants and shops is close by. Luiz is a great host and we'd love to stay here again someday.

Stayed for a week, loved it

Pros: A great little spot just up the hill from central funchal. Lovely hosts and great facilities. Very homely, with a good amount of shared outdoor space that you and the other 2 lets can use. There's a very friendly cat and we've named him Pablo.

Pros: A brilliant apartment. Cooking facilities were great. There was a nice terrace with excellent views. The pool was good. Easy to get in to funchal using the bus or bolt taxis. The host was very friendly and attentive. It's a really enjoyable stay !

Perfect little stay in February

Pros: The accommodation is very comfortable, has all amenities you would need. The terrace and different outdoor lounge areas are lovely, with a great view. There are parking spots directly in front of the property. Luiz is a wonderful host who helped us a lot with tips for the area, recommendations for restaurants and a nearby supermarket.

Pros: All fantastic. Facilities as expected. Not disappointed.

Cons: Walking up/down hills.....😂🤣 Obviously not the Casa do Pocos fault and as expected.

Pros: Beautiful house with various apartments. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrase and the garden. The apartment itself was very chic and very well equipped. Great communication with the owner. Veey clean.

Cons: We liked everything:) Just maybe to mention to the owner that it might be useful to put some hanger for the towels in the bathroom, but this does not decrease our grade for this accomodation

Pros: Location was lovely and peaceful but with several buses to get you to the centre. From there you could join tours or catch interurban buses to other towns and locations. Luiz was very helpful and friendly. Local supermarket, bar and restaurant. I would definitely come back there again. In fact, we want to visit the island again soon as there was so much to do and we only did a fraction of it.
