Beautiful apartment just outside Funchal

Pros: The apartment exceeded expectations. It is spacious, fully equipped with everything you need, clean and modern. Good location, just on the outskirts of Funchal and within walking distance to the beachfront and supermarket. If you are up for it Funchal Centre is a 50min walk away (with plenty to see on the way) or there are local busses. Our host was responsive and accommodated an early check-in, they also left local snacks and Madeira Wine which was a super nice touch. It has parking, air-con and a swimming pool (a combination of facilities that wasn’t that easy to find in the area). I can recommended the apartment for anyone wishing a comfortable stay in Funchal.

Pros: The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with everything you need for daily life, even if you're planning a longer stay. Having underground parking was a huge plus and made things much easier. There’s a grocery store and a few great local restaurants within a 10-minute walking distance, which was super convenient on the days we didn’t feel like cooking. Our host, Anya, was very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and make our stay as comfortable as possible. The swimming pool was also a lovely bonus.

Cons: The only downside was a persistent musty smell in the apartment. I read that it’s quite common for the island, but just be prepared, things take a long time to dry indoors. We ended up using the balcony to air everything out.

Muy equipado y agradable

Pros: Es tal cual como en las fotos, muy agradable y se veía un poco el mar. Estaba muy equipado con cualquier cosa que necesitaras y tuvieron en cuenta que íbamos con un bebé

Cons: La terraza está muy a la vista de la calle y la puerta del garaje se escuchaba mucho

Pros: Byt se nachází v moderní čtvrti 10 min autem od centra Funchalu, 3 min autem do obchoďáku, kde seženete vše potřebné. Lokalita je klidná, s částečným výhledem na oceán. Byt je super zařízený, najdete v něm vše a to včetně top vybavené kuchyně. Postel superpohodlná, koupelna skvělá (proud vody, super sprcháč). Byli jsme zde 11 dní a bylo to jako doma. Ania byla velmi nápomocná. Ocenili jsme i garáž, před domem často není kde zaparkovat. Také jsme ocenili klimatizaci, která i topí, venku bylo 10-17 st.a my si mohli zatopit.
