Funchal City Apartments

I had a relaxing, enjoyable and safe solo trip in Madeira and being centrally located helped a lot!

Pros: Loved the apartment - was cosy and comfortable with all the necessary amenities and LOVED the location too! Was literally a few mins walk to the bakeries, mall, bus stop, restaurants and so on. The owner/manager was very responsive and helpful too.

Cons: There was nothing I disliked.

Pros: I like really liked the location of the apartment. Everything was nearby such as restaurants, coffee shops, supermarket (in Plaza) which was literally 2 mins away. Kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable bed, spacious living room, bathroom and bedroom.

Cons: I was happy with the kitchen, but it could have been better to have an oven. Air conditioner could help in the apartment as it was really hot during night time. These are just minor problems. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this apartment. I would definitely come back again. I highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a comfy place.

Great space near the centre

Pros: Great location and large opening window for fresh air. Very friendly staff who let us in and gave us the tour.

Cons: The kitchen was missing a few key items (no chopping board and the under counter lights weren't working), and the shower head was a bit loose, but other than that there were no issues and we'd definitely stay again!

Pros: Host was very helpful and kind. Apartment was close to shopping mall and city center. Room was little bit old but clean and cozy.

Pros: The hostess was efficient and responsive. The unit is very clean, perfect location. For what we paid and what we got, no complaints. If you watching your budget but want clean and prime location...this is the spot.

Cons: Unfortunately, didn't realize doesn't have an air-conditioning unit. My bad, didn't catch that in the booking. But the hostess was fantastic and immediately brought over two more fans, including the one already there when I explained didn't realize no AC and asthmatic need the air to move around. After that, no issues, slept just find.

Pros: Great location. A shopping center is nearby. Clean and comfortable.

Cons: A bottle of drinking water could be provided for guests upon arrival. But this is just a suggestion :)

Had an enjoyable stay. Would recommend

Pros: Excellent location. Very close to supermarket and transport links. Easy to reach from aerobus. Good selection of places to eat in back streets beyond cathedral at very reasonable prices

Cons: No indication on door apart from number that we were in the right place. Thought we were in a block of apartments with reception. First time booked accommodation online so unsure what to expect

Pros: Asunto siisti ja toimiva. Hyvällä sijainnilla eri kohteisiin.

Cons: Näkymä ikkunasta masentava ränsistyneen vastapäisen talon vuoksi. Meteli aamu 7 alkaen kestäen 8tuntia vastapäisen rakennustyömaan vuoksi melkein kestämätön. Oli kolmas kerta meillä majoittumiseen, mutta tod.näk.viimeinen. Rakennusmelun vuoksi ei vastannut odotuksia. Tilanne tietenkään ei ole pysyvä.

Pros: świetna lokalizacja, do centrum zaledwie kilka minut na piechotę, zarówno jak do morza, restauracje i bary bardzo blisko. Obiekt bardzo czysty, wszystkie przybory kuchenne zapewnione, niczego nie brakowało

Cons: jedyna rzecz to brak ciepłej wody jeżeli bierze się prysznic od razu po kimś

Eine schöne Wohnung in sehr guter Lage.

Pros: Mein Flug wurde vorverlegt. Der Vermieter war entgegenkommend und übergab mir die Schlüssel etwas früher.

Cons: Da das Quartier sehr zentral liegt, kann es abends draußen laut werden.
