Pros: We've stayed here four times, everything is perfect, the terrace in particular.

Cons: Long steep hill from town centre. Could be a problem if you have a mobility issue.

Pros: Beautiful view from the spacious balcony over the ocean and port with ships coming and going in the distance. Quiet location but just a walk from restaurants Comfortable beds Well equipped kitchen Free parking space on site Friendly, helpful host

Cons: Just to mention that the flat is up 3 flights of stairs: this did not bother us at all but may be an issue for some people.

Great place with a couple of issues that can be easily rectified.

Pros: Great location. Terrace was great. Fantastic view over Funchal. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space. Clean.

Cons: The aircon unit was not working, so very hot in the apartment, especially when trying to sleep. Sofa bed unusable as it was so uncomfortable, friend slept outside.

The view!

Pros: The view! The large terrace, and a very nice apartment over all. Spacious, very clean, well equipped.

Cons: We couldn't use the master bedroom because of a terrible smell from the en suite bathroom. There was also some disturbance from a building construction site nearby. The beds are a bit on the hard side.

Wonderful

Pros: This was our third stay in this lovely apartment. Clean, comfortable and with a large terrace with amazing views.

Cons: The sunbeds had large cracks in them. The long and steep walk up to the apartment from town (but the views from the terrace makes it worth the effort :) ).

Pros: Cleanliness, view from the terrace, vicinity to city centre, market, ideal for group of 6 people (even more can fit, because living room holds couches that can be used for sleeping). Host was super friendly, we had lovely time, definitely will try to book the same property if I was to visit Funchal again.

Very nice apartment

Pros: Great location and terrace on which you could sit and relax and oversee Funchal and its marina. Towels and bed sheets were provided, and kitchen was fully equipped (only missed a frying pan). The host was very friendly. Overall we had a great time staying at this apartment!

Cons: AC was provided but could have been better and one of the tanning beds was unstable.
