Cosy and quiet Funchal getaway

Pros: Well equipped, quiet, in a residential neighbourhood. The owners show their love of the island and their care of their visitors in many small details, much appreciated!

Cons: Not a complaint, just a fact: Funchal streets are narrow and steep, and so the walk up from sea level to the flat compensates well for a couple of Pastel de Natas :)

I would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a convenient getaway in Funchal.

Pros: Daniel and Anna were great hosts - both very helpful prior and during our holiday in Funchal. Their place was perfect as a base for exploring the island, close to everything. The modern house was very clean, comfortable and homely.

Pros: The host was great and we communicated very well. The flat is very well equiped, clean and very cosy. We slept very well, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Even if there was a dog at the neighbours, he was only barking a little bit everytime we entered the alley, but overall he really didn,t disturb us at all + the flat is in a very quiet area. It is not far from the center but keep in mind that it suits better people who don,t mind walking up and downhill.

Super stay

Pros: Owners were very nice and helpful, it was nice and clean. Close to the city center. Parking just next to the building

Cons: The neighbor across the street was intensively checking us out each time we came in 😂 also it was a bit of walk up the hill to get back

Pros: The apartment was really nice and lovely. It was very comfortable and the hosts were really kind. It had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our time there.

Cons: The parking situation was very difficult. There are only few parking lots available on the streets. Another thing is that the apartment is located a bit outside the city center which makes it really quiet. The downside is that a hill needs to be climbed again to get back to the apartment from the city center.

A perfect little nest to rest and enjoy the beautiful island of Madeira.

Pros: Secure - the access to the property is just for residents of that building, the back gate is not a public pathway so you feel safe alone with doors open. Beautiful inside! A really relaxing space. Has everything you need and is simple and comfortable.

Cons: Parking was not easy but you can figure it out, this is like any popular city so you might not be used to it but I was.

Excellent apartment close to Funchal center

Pros: One of the nicest apartments I have been, located close to the center of Funchal. Well equipped and everything clean and comfortable.

Cons: Nothing special. You have to know that there is a lot of inclination until you reach but this is Funchal and that sometimes the parking availability depends on the luck. Nevertheless, nothing for us was a problem because we walk down and upwards.

Perfect stay in Madeira

Pros: Friendly owners and always ready to help. The apartament was nice and clean, equiped with everything we needed during our one-week stay in Madeira. Near the old town.

Cons: Only little disadvantage is the steep hill to come from the old town. But, you know, Madeira is like that ;)

By far the best place we stayed while traveling for over three weeks.

Pros: From the moment we met with Anna and received the keys, we felt like Little Townsuite Funchal was our home away from home. The unit was spotless and comfortable, beautifully decorated, and had everything thing we needed. In fact, the extra effort that was provided for the stay made us feel like we were more than welcomed guests.
