Great place

Pros: Really great place to stay in Madeira with an amazing view! Without a car it is hard to stay here because of the high situated but if you want to go to Funchal’s centre an uber is about 6-7€

We had a great time in Madeira, and the venue was a part of that

Pros: The location was great, you are away from the busy city centre but close enough that a car or bus journey would take 10 minutes. You’re also close to the main road that takes you around the island so it’s very easy to access the rest of the island. The view at the top is amazing and shows vast parts of Funchal and the surrounding mountainous terrain.

Cons: The parking is difficult to manoeuvre in so we ended up parking on streets outside of the venue. To be honest Madeira has a very hilly terrain so that is what just comes with the island.

Pros: Fantastic view from the roof balcony, absolutely amazing. On the spot you can find a parking place, which was very useful. Apartment well equipped, we were only two, however there is enough space for 4 persons. Grocery store, cofee very close to the apartment. Truly recommend 👌

Perfect place for a family to stay in Funchal just a bit outside of the busy city centre.

Pros: Great location in Funchal - attic type conversion with a roof top balcony so you had a great view of Funchal. The property was right on a bus route and a 2 min walk from the shop so even without a rental car it was extremely well located for anybody limited to a bus. Jose was extremely accomodating and helpful and we could not have asked for more in a host - great communication and support.

Cons: Cooking was limited as there was no oven - only an electric hob, but if you plan to eat out a lot in Funchal this will not be a problem!

Spacious accommodation with a wonderful panorama, ideal for a family of 4 or friends.

Pros: Great value for money accommodation! The apartment was just as shown in the pictures. Perfect for a family of 4 or a group of friends. The view from the roof terrace of the house is stunning. Quiet and peaceful, separate part of the family house. The 2 separate toilets are practical. The host, Jose was very friendly and helpful, he took care of any problems. Parking is a little tricky, but Jose explained that very well too. The local shop is about a 3-minute walk away, and a larger shopping center (Madeira Shopping) is a 5-minute drive away. There is a bus stop right in front of the house, from where we easily got into the center of Funchal.

Cons: In cooler weather, the house is very drafty, and the stove cannot fully heat the apartment. We had to ask extra blankets, but even then we were not completely comfortable. An instruction manual for the stove would be useful. It would be worth airing the apartment more often when not in use. The electrical network is not completely stable, the fuse kept tripping while using several devices.

Pros: Spacious and clean aparment, wonderful wiev from the terace, quiet nights.

Cons: Demanding parking place, but that is mostly everywhere in Funchal.

We loved Eyes in the Sky and the host. Fantastic base for exploring Madeira.

Pros: Elevated position with the most stunning roof terrace with panoramic views over Funchal. Enjoyed a glass of wine 🍷 watching the night draw in. Spacious, clean, airy apartment with a lovely covered outdoor terrace too. And we loved the wood chip stove 🔥 The apartment is in the roof of the family home but very private. Jose is a fabulous host. And we had an amazing holiday. 🥳

Cons: Parking was a bit tricky but we soon got the hang of it. Jose was on hand to help 😀

Simply good!

Pros: Fantastic host, great location to start trips by car everywhere - a minute from highway, well equipped with long hours grocery market nearby

Cons: Complicated access to parking but safe with experience and care, probably not unusual for Madeira

Great choice for those who are active, going to trips and use the kitchen.

Pros: Perfect small terrace with heartbreaking view on north Funchal. Good location to go to trips from. Bus stop just next to door. Very nice and kind and helpful staff, reactive on Whatsapp in case of problems or questions. Two toilets were advantage for a family. Clear instructions for coming were share via whatsapp.

Cons: Difficult parking, but usually patient drivers so it was okay. Busy street on one side of the house. A bit darker under the roof but good lights inside.

Pros: Very nice apartment, very well equipped, clean and big enough for a family of four. Great location to discover the whole island. Did not hear any noise from the street. Secured on-site parking. Outstanding host, even kindly offering free non-planned transportation to the airport to pick up the rental car. Welcome treats were delicious. Definitely choosing Jose’s services again in the future. Thank you!!!
