Sea and Sun 4 You - Villa Oliveira

Great stay

Pros: Amazing views, clean apartments and pool was lovely and quiet. We went in Oct. Weather was still good and pool was a good temperature. Local bars are welcoming, restaurant delicious and supermarket large. Sea front is a short bus journey away and a Bolt taxi was not too expensive.

Pros: We really liked our balcony and the view from the bedroom. The apartment is modern and nice. The kitchen is really well equipped. There is a supermarket really close.

Cons: The couch in the kitchen is a bit small for two people, next time we would prefer to book two separate apartments.

Pros: Great location, free parking, easy to access the premises. Terrace with the nice view. The kitchen is well equipped incl the coffee machine and dishwasher.

Cons: The property consisted of two small rooms. We were using the sofa for our daughter and the room was so small, that with the folded sofa it was difficult to open the entrance door. Could be quite ok for two people, but for 3 it is really tiny. Also we did not like the beds - synthetic blankets and the cheapest pillows were not very comfortable.

Pros: It was a nice place with incredible view. Very quiet. Good swimming pool area with the shower and tables and other stuff like that. We had everything what we needed. Kitchen with a washing machine and a dishwasher, fridge, microwave and the oven. It was also some sponge, kitchen towels and a washing liquid 😄 which is very good for me.

Cons: Very dirty floors 🥲. (Need a good clean and this is manageable) I don't like to wear shoes inside the house.

Nice new house

Pros: Apartment is completely new, everything looks just like the pictures. Pool is nice, water is not too cold and there are enough sunbeds. Parking is right behind the house and there is enough space. It is gated and secure. Kitchen is fully equipped. There is a microwave as well as oven and dishwasher, enough tools and everything. You also have a washer-dryer in the kitchen. We got the tablets for dishwasher and washer as well. There is also an iron and an iron board. There are two smart tv-s in the studio as well. Garden surrounding the house is really nice and well maintained. Location overall is good if you have a car - if you do not, it will be very difficult for you as it is a steep street and neighbourhood.

Cons: We got the studio oriented towards the street. It is extremely busy street, and it was always very loud. We had to keep terrace door closed so our baby could sleep. Also, sound isolation in the building is really bad. We could hear the people above us being noisy at 3-4 am. Also, as our studio was first door left from main entry hallway on the ground floor, we could hear everyone coming and exiting. Entry door is also really loud. Pool could have been cleaned a little bit more.

Stay was wonderful , host had left us a welcome gift which was sweet. Just wish the sun was more in favour of the Villa!

Pros: The villa had everything you could need , microwave , oven , stove , toilet paper , shampoo and body wash , hairdryer , sandwich toaster etc Hosts answered any messages very quickly

Cons: Unfortunately the sun only hits the villa early morning. Private pool means shared pool with other guests ( I was under the impression it was private private) however we were the only ones who used it!

Cute apartment with amazing views

Pros: We had a great stay here. The place was clean and tidy and had a comfortable bed. Plus an amazing terrace with a view over the ocean and the rugged coastline. It was the perfect spot to explore Madeira from, away from the crowds.

More than you can ask for!

Pros: The apartment was well designed. It was modern and practical. It had more than you can ask for. Two TVs: one in the living area, one in bed. A full length mirror, Dishwasher, oven, microwave, washingmaschine, iron, extra pool towels! Even a grater for cheese. The Host is well organised and reacts quickly. Parking was available and the pool area is really enjoyable. There is a supermarket in walking distance and a bus (3 min walking) takes you to funchal within 15 minutes. I would stay here again.

Cons: The apartment had a damp feeling to it. We aired it out a lot.

Pros: clean apartment and territory, big parking with opportunity to rent a car in 10 metres. Warm pool with amazing typical Maderian country mountain view
