A Little Piece of Heaven...

Pros: This property is so beautiful, the view is absolutely stunning, one of the nicest I have ever seen. It's in a perfect location, near lots of restaurants, a beautiful park and a short walk to the old town/Marina. The kitchen has everything you need, it was spotlessly clean and very quiet at night. Don't hesitate to book it, the view will blow you away!

A comfortable, homely stay with stunning views and a lovely festive touch.

Pros: I really enjoyed the beautiful views and how the place felt like a proper home. I arrived on the 1st of December and, thanks to the host letting me know, I was able to experience the first day of the Christmas lights, which made my stay extra special.

Cons: I couldn’t fault the property itself. The location wasn’t ideal for me, but overall everything was absolutely fine.

Fantastic few days

Pros: Very modern and clean. Central for access to the resort. The gentleman who greeted us was helpful and ensured we had what we needed.

Cons: Disabled access wasn’t as good as expected. Some doorways a little tight

Cons: Bathroom albeit very clean, had a strange/sewage odour.

Pros: The locations is just perfect and the view amazing! The best thing about this apartment is the view from the large windows. There is a large balcony (terrace) where you can sit in the morning and enjoy the ferries coming in and Funchal waking up.

Cons: Some windows in the apartment were very drafty and windy. Since the temperature outside was low for two days, it was cold in the apartment. The gate leading to the main street did not work, and the key did not work. We had to go through another gate, which is controlled by a remote control. It was a minor issue, just a slight inconvenience. The apartment is small, but the three of us fit in :)

Perfect accomodation for a middle-age couple trekking around Funchal

Pros: The location was perfect for us. Close to the restaurants, grocery stores/shopping, and public transportation (=> easy to access the trekking routes). Still, quiet and away from traffic and nightlife.

Excellent location and good value for money.

Pros: Excellent location, just a short walk through Parque Santa Catarina to the seafront. Good restaurants very close by. Fabulous view from the balcony. Andre, the manager, was very helpful including providing airport transfer. The only negative was the very fiddly locks on the gates surrounding the building, quite difficult to get in and out.
