Pros: Mariana from the renting company (Feels Like Home) was very friendly and helpful. She answered our questions quickly and as this was a 3-week stay arranged changing of sheets/towels and cleaning during it. The apartment is a good size for 2 people and very well equipped with oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and pod coffee machine. It made self-catering very easy. The large bed was comfortable and the bathroom had an excellent shower. There is also a spacious outside area and off-road secure parking should you choose to rent a car. The location is SUPERB, being right opposite a fabulous park and just a 5-10 minute walk into Funchal. My wife and I stayed here and would happily do so again.

Cons: The outside area loses the direct sun in the early afternoon, so you are then in the shade when you sit outside.
