Perfect stay!

Pros: The apartment was really great. The geographical location was perfect for our stay and it has private parking. Communication with the hosts was easy, and all the information was sent beforehand and very clear. The kitchen utilities were the best we have seen in recent times, and we were very grateful to the host for leaving us enough dishwasher pods. The apartment was perfectly clean, with a lovely, well-maintained pool and communal areas. Funchal city center was easily reachable by public transportation (the bus stop is just meters away from the apartment) or even on foot. Highly recommended — can’t wait to return!

Cons: There was occasionally a slight sewage smell coming from the en-suite bathroom

Luxury apartment near Funchal for perfect holidays

Pros: We were upgraded to a brand-new apartment, which was equipped with everything one could ever imagine. Located 2 km west of Funchal, city center was reachable by public transportation or by foot. Supermarkets, excellent restaurants and Lido beach were in close walking proximity. Host was very nice and friendly.

Cool place in Madeira

Pros: Good location, private parking, great view from the balcony. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Responsive host. I recommend.

Amazing stay in Funchal!

Pros: The pool is amazing. That was definitely the best part of the house. Location is also very good, you can drive into the city center easily and you xan park the car inside the property so that made life easy!

Nice and modern apartment

Pros: We loved the location, it was a short walk everywhere and busses go near the house. It was very clean and modern and there was everything we needed. All the household appliances seemed quite new: the hair dryer was the best I have ever used! Lovely views. Two bathrooms were a good bonus for us, and the bidee in the bigger bathroom. Lots of space in the closets. There was Netflix for rainy days.

Cons: - A bit confusing instructions for the check in: it says there’s someone meeting us at the house and so I thought, because the host didn’t tell me otherwise. We got our key code a bit late and we had to ask for it. - The other bathroom smelled very bad. We’ve been facing this in Madeira before and figured, that the sewer smell in apartments is quite common. This was, anyway, the most bad we had ever experienced. Luckily it varieted and wasn’t so bad all the time. I hope it’s something fixable. - Very uncomfortable beds. The pillows and matresses are ok, but the beds were very loud and noisy! Everytime you turn in the bed, it creaks loudly. We didn’t sleep much. - A building site right next to the house. I understand the host cannot do anything about it, but at the moment it’s very noisy in the house between 8 and 18. This problem, of course, it’s not there forever.

Relaxed, enjoyable & comfortable.

Pros: Location on the road above Monumental near Lido was convenient and the balcony gives lovely sea views. Very well furnished & equipped and David on WhatsApp to answer any queries.

Cons: Balcony off the main bedroom - would prefer it off the lounge. Sadly when we stayed builders next door so most of the daylight hours it was noisy on balcony. Once they are done it will be delightful to sit out there.

I would stay here again!

Pros: Super clean and comfortable! When I opened the shutters I could not believe the amazing view. Private parking space. I was traveling with my son, so having two bathrooms was fantastic. We had a car, but it was only about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop so very convenient.

Cons: I love the convenience of a lockbox system for the keys. I really struggled with this particular box. Everything else was great.
