Cons: Lack of a heating system.

Pros: Clean, spacious, comfortable apartment in a nice, quiet, residential location, near cafes and restaurants. Paolo showed us around the apartment on our first day, he was very welcoming and and gave us some useful information about the area

Cons: 20 min walk into centre of town, cable car and bus station. I rang about an issue with the sliding door not locking but it wasn’t fixed during our stay.. we were on the first level so we felt safe enough, but would’ve been nice to get a call back about it, as promised.

Pros: the location is good, the compound is quiet and clean, the apartment is big and comfortable, nice balcony, convenient kitchen facilities and washing machine. parking lot is easy for parking and free of charge.

Cons: the overall location is good but it not easy to navigate to the exact building if you are the first time to Maderia. We couldn't made us available to call the landlord in advance when we arrived at airport, when we arrived around the destination building at evening, we can't find which one is the right one. We called reception but she said we need time and then we can pick you up. Luckily one person helped us to entered the compound, BUT NO ONE from the property picked us up until 40 MINUTES late!!! we waited at evening in ground with our luggage, we kept calling reception every 8-10 minutes, but every time the reception answered \

Nearly perfect

Pros: Great furnished flat. Good check in process. Close walk to Funchal centre.

Cons: The patio doors didnt lock very well - safety risk. The apartment needs AC, it gets so hot inside.

Pros: Good size for 6 people, clean, comfortable and all the amenities needed were present. Excellent location

Cons: Possibly needed another fan (there were only 2 for 3 bedrooms) or cooling system? Like air con in the living room? There was a problem with one of the bathrooms - we contacted regarding this - but no one came to check due to problems with communication.

Pros: Spacious, well equipped apartment in great location.

Cons: Remember to bring/buy your own washing machine and dishwasher tablets, spices, tea etc...

Value for money.

Pros: We flew in on an evening flight and the host Paolo was very gracious to wait on us at such a late hour in order to let us in and show us around the apartment. Apartment was clean and spacious for a group of 6. Location was conveniently in the heart of Funchal making it easy to get around.

Cons: Bed in primary bedroom was comfortable however the beds in the other two rooms were way too small for our tall friends! They had to sleep with their feet almost dangling off the mattress which was uncomfortable for them. All the pillows were also too high so we all resorted to sleeping on the bed cushions.

Nice apartment, great spot

Pros: Great location. Well equipped and comfortable. Quiet on an evening. Everything within a short walk. Tidy well kept area. Shops and restaurants close by. Friendly host. Easy access.

Cons: Only minor but, could do with some new cushions on the sofa, they’re old and flat. Shower in the en-suite needs a new seal, leaks all over the floor because there’s a gap down the side of the door. Host mentioned they would come back on our last day to take the keys to the apartment, and offered to order us a taxi to the airport for our trip home but neither it/he arrived.

Pros: Gostamos de tudo, o apartamento era exatamente como estava descrito em todas as imagens. O check in foi efetuado com muita simpatia e flexibilidade. Recomendamos!!
